SEEING THE INVISIBLE

(HEBREWS 11:23-27)

MOSES LEFT EYGPT TWICE...
The first time he left in
-FEAR
The second time he left in
-FAITH

He abandoned the place he once called home to a place he had NEVER SEEN.

HE SUSTAINED HIMSELF BY SEEING THE INVISIBLE.

God has given us all TWO sets of eyes.
-Your FIRST SET OF EYES allows you too see the natural world.
Without your eyesight you would not be able to function without the aid of a cane or someone to guide you.
Without your eyesight you would not be able to fully understand the world we live in.

-Your SECOND SET OF EYES is your intellect.
The MIND.
This set of eyes is POWERFUL...
For it allows you to see the INVISIBLE...

IT IS SO POWERFUL IT ALLOWS YOU TO SEE THE
-PAST
-PRESENT
-TOMORROW

It allows you to see and understand the SPIRIT WORLD.
Satan knows the power of the mind,he knows that if God can get a hold of your MIND and RENEW it that his power will be broken in the name of Jesus.

So he fills the mind with LIES to the point where the mind is so clouded that it can no longer see or understand TRUTH.

(2 COR 4:4-6)

SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS IS THE WORST KIND OF BLINDNESS THAT A HUMAN CAN EXPERIENCE.

Spiritual blindness will cause you to not see God moving in your midst.
He can be standing in front of you and you will miss Him.
The Bible says that He came to His own and His own KNEW HIM NOT.
ALL THEY COULD SEE WAS A CARPENTER FROM NAZARETH.

ALL THAT DAVID'S BROTHERS,INCLUDING HIS FATHER COULD SEE WAS A SHEPHERD, A NOBODY.
BUT GOD WAS LOOKING AT A KING.

PETER TO MANY WAS JUST A FISHERMAN, BUT GOD WAS LOOKING AT AN APOSTLE.

Sometimes people can look at us and not see much, sometimes we look at ourselves and not see much. We see ourselves so insignificant,but we need to understand God does not see you AS YOU ARE, but he sees YOU AS KINGS AND PRIESTS REIGNING WITH CHRIST JESUS.

A carpenter when he looks at a pile of wood doesn't see a pile of wood he sees a chair,a table, a house, a building.
Because he looks at it with his MIND'S EYE.

The text says that the god of this age has BLINDED those who believe not.

THEY LITERALLY CANNOT SEE OR UNDERSTAND THE THINGS OF THE SPIRIT.

That is why you and I are so blessed to see what we see.
We need to be careful how WE HANDLE what we've been given...
SOMETIMES WE'RE SO CARELESS...

ARE YOU FIT FOR BATTLE?

The christian life is not a carnival ride with popcorn,cotton candy,balloons and rollercoasters,it's more like stepping into a warzone.
The smell of sulfur permeates the air,there are casualties,there are the walking wounded,there are those who have lost limbs by stepping on landmines,caught in traps set by the enemy.
It's not a pretty picture.
We my friend,have been enlisted into the army of the Lord,to take authority over the enemy,to bind and cast out,to tread on scorpions and serpents
But my question to you is are you fit for battle?
