Ford Memorial Church Of God In Christ The Church of God in Christ had it's beginning in 1928 on Ash St. Lubbock, Texas. Amen

The name changed to Ford Memorial after the death of the pastor, T.L.Ford in his honor. We believe the bible to be the inspired and only infallible written word of God. We believe there is one God eternally existent in three persons, God the Father,
God the Son, God the Holy Ghost. We believe in the Blessed Hope which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ at His return. We belie

ve that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentanced and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ, and accepting the gospel according to Romans 10:9-10
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation. We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer. We believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in this present world.

The Lord put his stamp of approval on our efforts today as we went out and witnessed, offered prayer and gave to the community!
We were met with smiles, tears and appreciation! So many are in need and longing for peace. If we reached just one today, it was God that got the glory! Remember this is a community effort and everyone is welcome to join with us as we take to the streets of Lubbock, Texas!

As we prepare for more freezing temperatures, our hearts and prayers were with the homeless community! What a blessing it was handing out blankets, sleeping bags, scarves, gloves, and hand warmers. We want to thank all who participated in making this a success.

Good morning Lubbock. This Thursday, we will be heading out once again to distribute blankets and hand warmers to our homeless population. We invite all volunteers to meet us at 4pm in the Ford Memorial parking lot, where we will coordinate our approach to reach as many individuals as possible and provide them with vital resources. If you have knowledge of any areas we should target, please post that information in the comments. We strive to support as many individuals in need as possible. Thank you everyone. God bless🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
