The WMU of Texas Pursue Conference in Waco is coming up April 17 and 18. It is going to be such a special time to gather, worship, learn, and be encouraged together.

There is still time to register, so if you have been thinking about it, this is your sign to go ahead and sign up. And remember, this conference is open to everyone. Invite friends, women and men from your church, students (6th grade - College), ministry leaders, and anyone who just needs a fresh word from the Lord.

We would love to see a strong group from our churches there, ready to pursue all that God has for us.

This will be a GREAT day in the Lord as we learn how to move from the pew into a world that is dark and in need of the LIGHT of Jesus.

There will be breakout sessions for Adults, Youth, Children’s Teachers and Workers, and others, including SEVERAL conferences in SPANISH.

We had the honor and privilege to pray beside our fellow Baptist women as part of the Baptist Women World Day of Prayer. We lifted the needs of our sister's in Christ from all over the world up to the Lord. It was such a humbling experience. We know God is moving in countries across the globe. Please remember to keep these sister's and the 7 Continental unions in your prayers.

World Day of Prayer was held this evening with many in attendance, and we were all blessed by the Bible Study by Brenda Rincones and songs led by Amanda Ramirez and New Light Baptist. Continued prayer needed for the requests by Baptist Women of the 7 Continental Unions! Thanks to the WMU of LABA for their hard work! To God be the glory!
