In tough and trying times it's difficult to look beyond what’s currently happening in your life and see the light at the end of the tunnel. Whether you’re going through a big life change, a hard time for your family, or personal health concerns, an optimistic frame of mind can help you see a difficult challenge as an opportunity for gratitude. The Bible is also a great place to find scripture that sparks hopefulness.A time that gives renewing for my mind and my heart. These joyful moments can immediately help brighten your day as well as give you perspective and set the pace for truth. A lot of times we find ourselves tired... too tired for God. Listen I don't ever want to be too tired for God again. I was a lazy Christian. I had just enough Jesus to stay out of trouble but not enough to walk in Victory... who am I following?I don't ever want to trust my plan for my life more than I want to trust God. Life is tough it happens,it's busy, but am I going to be too busy for God? Or am I going to be available to let him mold and shape me. Really the choice is yours. Are you following God or are you following yourself? Are you seeking God and his will and his knowledge in your life or yours? Are you going to trust God has a plan for you at all times or are you gonna trust your plan? I say that because a lot of times being a lazy Christian is not even acknowledged nowadays, but how many of us open our Bible and really study his word ...and I'm not talking about on Sundays when you show up give a little praise and then forget about him till next Sunday. How many of us bring God into our everyday lives whether it be small groups, praying before work, encouraging each other as women, encouraging our husband's, getting on our knees, speaking the word of God over someone's life, setting an example to our children. How many of us really trust that God has a plan for us or are we just playing church on Sunday. A lot of times we only want to worship and seek God when we want and when we need. We have become very washed out, worn, and tired and have to start over every Sunday. I used to wonder why I would feel so empty throughout my week waiting for that Sunday to come. When if I could have just remembered to keep my eyes fixed on an all-knowing God, I would have trusted he has my best intentions, and will always see me through. Not every day is it easy to believe that, but finding the truth in those struggles is important. I have to trust that God has a plan for me through the good and the bad... and standing on that is important.God is our unyielding source of hope. From cover to cover, Scripture shows that when everything else crumbles, God remains steadfast. This isn't a passive or fleeting hope; it's a fiery assurance that a future of glory awaits believers. Life can beat us down with trials, sorrows and debilitating worries. God’s messages about our future hope can deeply encourage, inspire, uplift and motivate us all we have to do is something as simple as open up our Bible. A lot of times the question is are you too tired to open your Bible and find out for yourself what God has planned for you? How willing are you today to invest in yourself or are you going to wait for another Sunday?
