Scripture calls it settled, and it was settled long before any of us were born!

Abortion:
- Psalm 139:13-16 - formed and knit together by God in the womb
- Jeremiah 1:5 - known and set apart before being formed in the womb

Gender:
- Genesis 1:27 - “God created man in His own image... male and female He created them”
- Matthew 19:4 - Jesus Himself points back to this as the beginning

Marriage:
- Genesis 2:24 - a man is joined to his wife, and the two become one flesh
- Matthew 19:4-6 - Jesus quotes Genesis directly, “so they are no longer two, but one flesh”

Slavery and trafficking:
- Exodus 21:16 - kidnapping and selling a person was a capital offense under the Law
- Galatians 3:28 - neither slave nor free, all one in Christ

Poverty:
- Deuteronomy 15:11 - open your hand freely to the poor and needy
- Matthew 25:35-40 - “as you did it to one of the least of these, you did it to Me”

Borders:
- Numbers 15:15-16 - one law for the native and the stranger who sojourns among you
- Romans 13:1-2 - every person is to be subject to the governing authorities God has appointed

Racial division:
- Acts 17:26 - from one man He made every nation of mankind
- Galatians 3:28 - neither Jew nor Greek, all one in Christ

Fatherlessness:
- Malachi 4:6 - the hearts of the fathers turned to the children
- Psalm 68:5-6 - a father to the fatherless, He sets the lonely in families

Corruption and justice in leadership:
- Micah 6:8 - do justice, love kindness, walk humbly with your God
- Amos 5:24 - let justice roll down like waters

Orphan care:
- James 1:27 - pure religion is caring for orphans and widows in their distress

We’re not arguing for these things. We’re standing on them.
