The bowls have finally been tipped with intercession building up over the last 5 decades. All glory to God for the faithful intercession of those who have and continue to stand in the gap, both in prayer and in action! Cover in prayer the lives of our leaders who are under strong persecution, undoubtedly now more than ever. The fight for life is a constant battle—so keep praying and keep acting, saints!

Simple truth tells me that if my inward or outward expression of worship were to change if Jesus physically walked into the room and stood in front of me... then my inward and outward expression needs to adjust to the truth; to the reality of the Presence I come before. I always want to worship with heaven and the throne room in my minds eye; being fully aware that I come before the King above all kings and the Lord above all lords. And even more bewildering, I’m invited to minister face to face and eye to eye. In this place worship becomes as simple and as effortless as breathing. In this place all the performance driven antics I’ve done from stages in the name of engagement appear as cheap, and unnecessary substitutions for what was really lacking: a leader who was able to just BE and BEHOLD.
I have learned a simple truth: a leader or worshiper who is able to take themselves before the Throne room of Heaven, will also be able to lead others there. I encourage leaders to lead with an awareness of the people and with a pastoral heart, but ultimately postured and positioned as one who has come into the Throne room of heaven and before Majesty itself.
