Place both feet on the floor. Take one slow breath, and let the silence remind you that the Lord is near.

Father, I confess how quickly I try to force what You have chosen to keep closed. Teach me to wait with hope instead of worry. Help me trust that Your timing is wiser than mine, and that You are preparing my heart while the answer delays. Lord, keep me from running ahead of You. Give me courage to believe that “not yet” is still held within Your goodness.

“Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” : Psalm 27:14

Today, name one situation you are trying to rush. Bring it honestly to God, and ask Him to help you receive this season without forcing the door.
