WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A DISCIPLE?

Jesus didn't simply say, “Believe in Me.”

He said, “Follow Me.”

And before He returned to the Father, Jesus gave His followers a mission:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19

This Sunday at Palms West Presbyterian Church, we’ll discover that discipleship isn't just another church program. It’s the calling of every follower of Jesus.

A disciple is a believer who lovingly follows Jesus and intentionally helps others follow Him.

And who are you helping to follow Jesus?

All ten were invited.
All ten had lamps.
All ten were waiting.

But only five were ready when the bridegroom arrived.

Jesus said:

“Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.” — Matthew 25:13
