Our hearts are filled with gratitude for the tremendous success of this year’s Strawberry Festival. Thanks to the hard work of our volunteers, and the support of everyone who attended, the festival was a joyful celebration of faith, fellowship, and community.

We are especially grateful to those who dedicated countless hours to planning, preparing, serving, and cleaning up. Your commitment and enthusiasm made this event possible.

The Strawberry Festival brought together families, friends, and neighbors in a spirit of fun and friendship while helping support the mission and ministries of our church. We thank God for the beautiful weather, the delicious food, and the many smiles shared throughout the day.

May God bless each and every one of you for your support and participation.

Today we celebrate not only your 70 years of life, but also the countless blessings you have shared through your faith, guidance, kindness, and service. Your dedication to God and to our parish community has touched many lives and inspired us all.

May this special milestone be filled with joy, good health, and the love of family, friends, and parishioners. And may you continue to enjoy many wonderful days on the golf course-hitting fairways, sinking putts, and creating great memories along the way!

Fr. Joe Morgan’s Farewell Address….

Well, maybe it is just “see you later”…. I have a way of returning to Ogdensburg, just like the proverbial bad penny!
Continue this great journey of faith, please pray for me as I will for you.idea. In my mind, I’m still 27 or 28….! But 29 of those 45 years have been here in Ogdensburg, either at Notre Dame Church (the first time), the Chancery and prison (the 2nd time), and then at St. Mary’s (since 2010), and combined with Notre Dame for the past ten years.s..
This year is my 45th year as a priest…how that happened already, I have no idea. In my mind I’m still 27 or 28….! But 29 of those 45 years have been here in Ogdensburg, either at Notre Dame Church (the first time), the Chancery and prison (the 2nd time) and then at St. Mary’s (since 2010) and combined with Notre Dame for the past ten years.
It has been a privilege to become a part of your families: to share the joys and sorrows of family life with you. You have been so kind and welcoming, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a priest for you. As we continue this great journey of faith, please pray for me as I will for you.
I know you will welcome Fr. Mickey Demo and Fr. Lukas Gruber with the same warmth and encouragement as they begin their priestly ministry here on July 1. Fr. Don Manfred also plans to live here in retirement and will be a great addition to parish and rectory life. Our parish is blessed!

The Catholic Community of St. Peter’s, St. Mary’s, and St. Hedwg’s are sponsoring their First Annual Golf Tournament “𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘁” on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Cedars Golf Course. All proceeds will go towards assisting families and Lewis County with this winter’s heating expenses.

Beyond having fun on the greens, our tournament serves a higher purpose: assisting families in keeping warm this winter. We’re committed to making an impact and invite you to join us.
