Recently the LINC1027 student ministry has begun using our Sunday evenings as opportunities to serve others. This week we noticed that donations for the food pantry were piling up because our pantry coordinator has been out of commision. So we decided to step up and help out! Check out our adventure moving and stocking nearly 200 non-pershible food items... We love you Mimi!

I hope you've all had a wonderful summer! As it winds down though and we're all preparing to for school to start I wanted to alert you to a wonderful opportunity this weekend. From 10:00am - 1:00pm on Saturday August 16th here at the church we will host a back pack drive and back to school bash. There will be bouncy houses, games, and refreshments for the kids in addition to back packs and other school supplies for any family that has need. And it's all FREE! So if you have elementary aged children and want to have a few hours of fun or if you need school supplies come on out!

We're also looking for volunteers to help with manning the games, overseeing the bouncy's, and distributing refreshments so whether you have children in elementary school or not this is a chance to serve the Lord, your church, and the community!
