I give thanks for this past Sunday, as Good Shepherd of Lowell and St. John of Ionia celebrated the day of our Lord in Word and Sacrament. We were truly blessed with our visitors and the many children who attended with their families.

I would like to thank the congregations of Good Shepherd and St. John for the celebration that we had this past Sunday. I would also like to thank the pastors who attended the Installation Service and shared the word of God with the congregations. Please keep St. John and Good Shepherd in your prayers as we continue to grow in our communities through the spreading of God's Holy Word.

It's been a wet spring. Water levels along the river are rising and the city of Lowell is anticipating sections of south Jackson Street will be impassable by Saturday the 18th. Please be aware and on the lookout for flooding and prepare extra time for alternative routes if your drive to Good Shepherd on Sunday brings you through downtown Lowell.
