What happens after we die?

The Bible doesn't leave us guessing.

Jesus made this incredible promise:

"I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die."
John 11:25 to 26 (NLT)

For those who place their faith in Jesus Christ, death is not the end. It is the beginning of eternal life in the presence of God. While our earthly bodies wear out, God's promise remains certain. Because Jesus conquered the grave, those who belong to Him have the hope of heaven.

The Apostle Paul reminds us:

"For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better."
Philippians 1:21 (NLT)

That doesn't mean we won't grieve when we lose someone we love. It means that grief is not without hope.

Today, take a moment to consider where your hope is found. Jesus invites each of us into a relationship with Him that extends far beyond this life.
