The Lowe Down
As we prepare to welcome teachers and students back for a new school year, I feel very blessed to be starting my third year at Saint Michael School! And we have much to be grateful for this year: for the new students and families who are joining us, for a building that, although long-standing, is looking much fresher these days, for a new and more engaging math curriculum, and many other blessings. I'm also excited to become an SMS parent, as my little guy is entering PK this year!
We are also thankful for all the friends of our school who make many improvements and growth possible. There are too many to name, but the Alumni Association comes to mind, and the unwavering support they have provided. We also could not have the wonderful events and initiatives we have without the support of the Barry family, among many others. And we can always count on Ryan Toomajanian for helping with so many projects! We are very blessed.
For anyone in the parish who is retired and is looking to get involved with a great organization, or have any interest in sharing a hobby or skills with our students, please reach out! We would truly appreciate your help.

This week after the 9:30 Mass, 2 events will be taking place. The pastoral event will be a celebration of Fr. Ron’s 75th Birthday. That will take place in the Church Hall immediately after Mass.
The liturgical event will be to move everything back upstairs to resume Masses upstairs on Monday, September 7th.
Please plan on staying and celebrating and moving items.
