Heaven's Reach Ministries Medical, Educational, and Agricultural assistance We receive seeds from Seeds of Hope to help with the nutrition project.

Melissa heads up medical brigades and I work with computers when not teaching or working on a nutrition project. We have received food from Feed the Children for a feeding center and will be receiving cows as part of a Heifer International project. We have also received solar powered MP3 players for small group bible studies for illiterate Hondurans in remote villages.

As the summer closes its doors with heat and summer fun, we turn our eyes to fall. My favorite time of year. To get it started, we have Labor Day. A celebration of those who make things happen.
The Bible says that we are all laborers, sent to carry the gospel. In Matthew 9:36, it says, When he (Jesus) saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd." That is how I see the lost in Honduras.

A clinic day is more than the consultation room.

Some patients come in needing to see the doctor. Others are waiting for medicine, asking questions, or receiving instructions before going back home. Each part matters.

At Love of God Medical Clinic, our team does their best to care for each person with patience, kindness, and dignity. For many families, being able to see a doctor and leave with the medicine they need is a real blessing.

We are thankful for another day of serving our community and for everyone who helps make this ministry possible through prayer, support, and encouragement.

our support helps keep care accessible for families who come to the clinic. It helps provide medical supplies, medicine, and the daily support needed so patients can be seen, treated, and sent home with the help they need.

At Dr. Richard Towne Dental Clinic, each clinic day is an opportunity to help patients receive the dental care they need with compassion and dignity.

From patients waiting to be seen, to check-in, evaluations, and treatment in the dental chair, our team works to serve children and adults who may be dealing with pain, dental problems, or the need for preventive care.

A first dental visit can change a childโ€™s future.

At Clรญnica Dental Dr. Richard Towne, our team cared for a 5-year-old girl during her very first visit to the dentist.

Her mother brought her in after noticing what seemed to be a tooth coming through the gum. After evaluation, our dental team diagnosed severe early childhood tooth decay, with serious damage to the upper baby teeth and remaining root fragments.

During the visit, the team performed the extraction of a non-restorable root remnant. A follow-up appointment was also scheduled for the application of topical fluoride varnish, which helps strengthen teeth and reduce the risk of future decay.

Just as important, her mother received guidance on proper brushing habits and the importance of prevention at home.

This case is a reminder that early dental care matters. A childโ€™s first dental visit can bring relief, guidance, and a healthier path forward.

๐Ÿ™ Praying Over Mothers and Their Babies

After each Sustainable Healthy Living lesson, we ask the mothers staying at the Victorina Garcรญa Maternal Shelter whether they would like prayer for themselves and their babies.

For those who say yes, we take time to pray with them personallyโ€”asking God to give them peace, strength, protection, and wisdom as they prepare for the arrival of their children.

These moments are deeply meaningful. Pregnancy can bring many questions, fears, and uncertainties, and we are grateful for the opportunity to remind each mother that she is not alone and that God cares for both her and her baby.

Please join us in praying for these mothers, their pregnancies, and the little lives they are carrying.

This week, our Sustainable Healthy Living team had the privilege of returning to the Victorina Garcรญa Maternal Shelter to spend time with the mothers staying there.

During this week's class, we explored the importance of ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—ต๐˜†๐—ด๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฒ and how simple daily habits can help protect both mothers and their babies from illness. Through discussion and practical examples, the mothers learned ways to care for themselves during pregnancy and establish healthy routines that can continue after their babies are born.

Beyond the lesson, our visits are an opportunity to build relationships, encourage one another, answer questions, and spend time together. At the end of each class, we also invite each mother to receive personal prayer for herself and her baby, providing another opportunity to share Christ's love and encouragement.

We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of this ministry and to walk alongside these mothers during such an important season of their lives.

Patients wait to be seen. Families check in. Vital signs are taken. Conversations happen. Children, mothers, adults, and elderly patients are welcomed with compassion as our team works to meet the needs in front of them.

At Love of God Medical Clinic and Dr. Richard Towne Dental Clinic, the work is not only about appointments or procedures. It is about creating a place where people are seen, heard, and cared for with dignity.
