Welcome Isabel and Noah to Peace Lutheran!
Hello! My name is Isabel Bollingmo (née Brown), my husband (Noah) and I are greatly excited to meet everyone and serve the congregation and Preschool at Peace.
I was born and raised in Conroe, Texas which is just north of Houston. From a very young age I watched my teachers at Abiding Word in Houston and I knew that’s what I wanted to do when I grew up. I attended Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, Wisconsin for high school and then went on to Martin Luther College where I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
During my time at MLC, I found that I really enjoy teaching in the classroom and working directly with children, but I also love the other side of teaching which is working with parents to better help and teach their children. I strive to advocate for best practices in the realm of early childhood education as well as what is best for the child. I am dedicated to teaching the whole child, but especially teaching them about the love of our Savior and how he died on the cross for all our sins!
Outside the classroom, I enjoy cooking and baking. My husband and I also enjoy being in nature, going to car shows, or exploring new places around us! (So if you have any adventure ideas, feel free to share them with us!)
