April 21, 2022 - Fishers of Men Newsletter has been written by inmates throughout the United States, typed and formatted in Arizona, printed and mailed from Illinois with an Arizona return address. It has been a year-long process to receive approval to maintain two offices which affords this ministry the ability to continue to grow and share the great news of Jesus Christ written by incarcerated individuals and being mailed to prison inmates throughout the US. Praying that God will circle your life with his everlasting arms.

We are in the process of uploading the newsletter to our website and will provide a link on this FB page in the near future. Please visit our website at www.fishersofmenprisonministries.com for more information about the ministry. You can also be added to the email list by emailing [email protected].

As we reflect on things that Jesus did today, we are also reflecting on our role in this ministry. Perhaps as He washed the feet of His disciples, the role we are fulfilling is similar as we ensure that incarcerated individuals' feet are washed as they continue to receive Biblical encouragement from Fishers of Men, the inmates who write articles and from Jesus who established and leads this ministry. What a blessing that Jesus chose this week to grant approval from the Arizona Corporation Commission for Fishers of Men to operate offices in Arizona! For that we are also thankful to our Lord for Walking this Walk with each of us (and sometimes carrying us)!

Have a blessed Resurrection Day and Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow!!

Love in Christ

Yesterday We received the Permission from the USPS to mail the Fishers of Men Prison Ministries newsletter from Rockford, Illinois with a Sun City. AZ address on its return… so excited!

Today we made one more trip downtown Phoenix to file with the Arizona Corporation Commission an Application for Authority to Transact Business or Conduct Affairs in Arizona for Fishers of Men Prison Ministries.

Once that is approved we can then file for a Qualifying Charitable Organization with the State of Arizona Department of Revenue…

We appreciate all the assistance I received from the State of Illinois certifying the Articles of Incorporation and a Certificate of Good Standing for the ministry. (And many certified items we needed to include with my application to Arizona)! Thanks to Bob Jakebuen from Meridian Printing and John Brown from the Rockford Post Office for filing the needed paperwork with USPS!

It’s been a long journey through fall and winter. Satan has thrown in many roadblocks, but God has opened many doors. Thank you to Grace Bible Church for your support and encouragement!. Thanks Adm Dan Roberts for all the help and encouragement!! God is so good!!

For the last several weeks, I have had the distinct feeling that Satan has been attacking fishers of men prison ministries! I have rebuked him and I cling to the assurance that this ministry must be on the brink of something huge! I have asked my sweet friends for prayer! I am definitely seeing the results of those prayers! One of my devotions today was a strong reminder of resilience! Thank you Jesus for taking care of your children!

For God has said, “I will never, never fail you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5, TLB

In this scripture, God put such an emphasis on His faithfulness because He knew how easy it is to give up on our dreams, to let our circumstances and how long it’s been taking to talk us out of His best. You may be facing a situation that looks impossible today. The odds are against you, and you’ve had some setbacks. Let me encourage you, it’s coming together. God is not going to fail you. The breakthrough is already in your future. Maybe you think you can never get out of debt, never live in a nice house, never be successful in your career. You’ve gone as far as your education allows. No, don’t talk yourself out of it. It’s coming together. Promotion, abundance, and new levels are headed your way.

When you go through the day with this expectancy, knowing that God’s working behind the scenes bringing it together, that’s what allows God to do great things. If you stay in faith, at the right time you will see it come together.

“Father, thank You for Your faithfulness, for being my vindicator, and for fighting my battles for me. Thank You that You will never, never, never fail me nor abandon me. I believe that You’re working behind the scenes on my most difficult situation, and that it’s all coming together. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

It’s so important that we pray for each other daily! Please take a moment and lift these circumstances up in prayer! Blessings to you all, MOMM — Fishrrs of Men Prison Ministries!!

Lindsey – Pray that God gives her and her family strength, peace, comfort, guidance, hope and joy. Her grandmother passed away in October. Then her whole family got covid and her father passed away. Then a friend and her bird died, and she was out of work for 6 weeks.

Kitty – Continue to pray for her protection and that she will find a new safe place to live. She lives in an in-law unit in the back of a house and the people who live there are into witchcraft.

Carol - She has struggled with thoughts causing her to have mental illness for years. Pray that she can be the person that Christ has called her to be and that she can rest and act in the power of Christ in what she thinks and does.

Pastor Art – Pray for Fran who has asked for prayer for her son to get vaccinated and wear a mask. Pray she will listen to her son’s concerns about the shots and masks. Pray wisdom for our country’s leaders regarding covid vaccinations, masks, and possible treatments.

Tom – Pray for guidance and direction at his job and for help paying for his dental work.

Brian – Pray for the Native American Cocopah tribe to finish translating the Bible in their language.

Deborah L. – Pray she will find a job and pray for the leaders and our nation.

Dawn – She is in a group home and the supervisor is mentally and emotionally abusive. Pray that they will get a new supervisor who treats the residents better. Pray that she will be able to get into a new group home and that her family will speak well of her and support her and that she gets her allowance and Visa debit card next week.

Richard - Pray for protection for Christopher who is in the marines and for finances for McKenna who is in college.

Anonymous – Pray for a miracle. She put her home of 50 years up for sale and it sold quickly. She had a heart attack and is now too sick to move. The realtor will not cancel the sale and she has nowhere to go. She is 82.

Phil C. – Pray God will bring him his helpmate real soon. He is 49yrs old.

Brian H. – Pray for him, generally and that God will reveal his calling in life.

Mindy – Pray that the person who’s breaking into her house will stop and the police will investigate. Pray for her peace.
Nancy – Pray for a situation she’s having at work with a customer. Pray God intervenes.

Lora – Pray for Gary to get vaccinated and for protection against covid. Continue to pray for her healing from depression and anxiety, and for peace of mind. Pray for her left knee to stop hurting and for the physical therapy to help.

Rose – Pray for a stronger, healed body and that she will use her finances wisely.

Marilyn - Pray for the general needs of Kyle, Katherine, Madeline, and Marti.

Fran – Pray her sons will stop hating each other, her son will get the shot, and change his mind and wear a mask.

D. Nissen – Pray for her son Scott to be delivered from depression and pray healing for his marriage (Leslie).

Tonya – Pray for her friend Elizabeth, who is homeless.

Mrs. Holloway – Pray for a better relationship with her daughter, for financial increase and that God will provide a new homemaker who is honest and compatible with her. Continue to pray for her son to turn back to God.

Adrienne – Continue to pray for her to find a new, safe place to live, for healing from many health issues and for her protection. She has been under extreme satanic oppression for 9 years.
