Ahoy there, mateys!️
We’re excited to announce that “Proof Pirates” Vacation Bible School is coming soon to Bent Tree this June!
This year’s VBS will be a fun and meaningful time for kids to grow in their faith through worship, Bible teaching, games, crafts, and more. VBS is completely FREE and open to children entering Kindergarten through 5th Grade.

We will have a Kickoff Celebration for the entire family with food, bounce houses, and crafts on June 7th from 5:30PM-7:30PM.
Vacation Bible School will take place June 8th–10th from 5:30 PM–7:30 PM each evening.

A fun fact about Devin is that he had a vinyl record collection!

“Even a courageous person’s steps are determined by the Lord, so how can anyone understand his own way? It is a trap for anyone to dedicate something rashly and later to reconsider his vows. A wise king separates out the wicked and drives the threshing wheel over them. The Lord’s lamp sheds light on a person’s life, searching the innermost parts. , Loyalty and faithfulness guard a king; through loyalty he maintains his throne. The glory of young men is their strength, and the splendor of old men is gray hair. Lashes and wounds purge away evil, and beatings cleanse the innermost parts.”

This is important to me because In real life, this teaches that sometimes doors close, relationships end, jobs change, or hardships happen for reasons we do not understand immediately and so after that we might fall into impulsive decisions. So, this warns against impulsive decisions and empty promises. The chapter pushes people toward maturity — not just emotionally, but spiritually and morally and it’s very important to me

I chose the position I did at Bent Tree because I love learning the behind the scenes of production and band and God guided me through my walk not just alone but as a team what’s so special about this team is with every Sunday we strive to make eachother better.
