Day 218- You know when God does something and you feel relieved. Well, that is me today. I have these two scriptures this morning for those who are still waiting patiently on the Lord. Luke 8:17- "For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light." He reveals all things from heaven to earth that we need to know. It says nothing is secret. And then Romans 8:28- "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to HIS purpose." He is working it all out, I promise. You focus on Him and what He is telling you to do and He will work it all out. Be blessed.

Day 217- What an amazing journey! Just when I didn't know that I could trust and love the Lord anymore, I go deeper. It is amazing what He can reveal when you are ready. I have been studying Ecclesiastes. Some will say that is such a depressing book. And yes, to some it could be but to me, it is eyes wide open. I asked God to show me the understanding of this book and He basically said, this is what it is without Me. With this understanding, it is a sad book. But one thing is for certain from this book is Ecclesiastes 3:1- To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven:. Know your season, know God. Be blessed.

Day 209- I was sitting here praying and it hit me like a ton of bricks, I want to go home. I desire something different. It's not that I don't love living on earth, I just want to finally see Jesus. I love people but I love Jesus more. I have this desire to be at home with Him. Hebrews 11:16 says it all- "But NOW they desire a better that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them." He has made me a home. Guys, it is not that I want to die, I just desire Jesus. Be blessed.

Day 208- Who am I? Let me tell you. I am loved (Colossians 3:12). I am forgiven (Ephesians 1:7). I am chosen (1 Peter 2:9). I am a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). I am more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37). I am God's workmanship (Ephesians 2:10). I am victorious (1 Corinthians 15:57). And do you know who made me all these things? Jesus Christ- my Lord and Savior. Who are you? Let Christ define you and not the world. Be blessed.

Day 207- This is just for you. I pray that those who needed this today sees it. That is in God's hands. Isaiah 40:31- "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. " Ephesians 6:10- "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might." Psalm 28:7- "The Lord is their strength and His is the saving refuge of His anointed." Have strength today, listen to the Lord and He will raise you up! Be blessed!

Day 205- I wrote about cultivating your gifts that God has graciously given you. But I want to work on these with all my might and seek His face to perfect these in my life. Galatians 5:22-23- "But the fruit of the Spirit is LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONGSUFFERING, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, and SELF-CONTROL. Against such there is no law. These are what I want people to see in me. If they are seeing these, then they are seeing Jesus. Be blessed.

Day 203- You know all my life I have heard that God loves everyone. But what about Proverbs 6:16-19- "These six things the Lord hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him: a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren." Now all of these a forgivable sins but God really doesn't like them in fact He hates them. So we must take for account of what we say, how we look, and what is in our hearts. I am really trying to understand what God expects of me as His child. I carry His name and I need to be not just less of me and more of Him BUT ALL of Him and NOTHING of me. Be blessed.

Day 202- We all have a gift. Painters don't get good at painting just by looking at paintings. Authors don't get good at writing just by reading books. They practice and they learn what skills they have. The same goes for you and me. The gifts that God doesn't get good unless we practice them. Everyone of you has a gift/gifts that God has laid and purposed in your heart. Use them. 1 Peter 4:10- "As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as a good stewards of the manifold grace of God." Let's use what God has given each of us to uplift one another. Day 199- Wow God hit me with something this morning. Matthew 22:37- "Jesus replied, Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind." That's everything we got. But here is where He got me. If you only love when they love you, you don't love people, you only love yourself. If you only obey scripture when you agree with it, you don't obey scripture, you obey yourself. If you only worship God when He caters to you, you don't worship God, you worship yourself. That hit. Hard cold facts are hard to hear but it has to be said. Be blessed.

Day 198- No one likes discipline. But when God says so it produces so much more. Hebrews 12:11- "Now no discipline seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterwards it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it." See God produces something more valuable when He trains us in His ways. We don't like it anymore than when we train our children. When He does do it, repent and learn from it. After that do everything in your power NOT TO DO IT AGAIN!!! Be blessed!

Day 197- As I sat listened to different point of views, I thought to myself, "No wonder the world does not see Jesus." We all think we are right. Our religion is the only way to go. Our way is the right way because we have scripture to back it up. But what if... just what if we don't have it right. Jesus warns us in Matthew to be careful of leaders that do it for man. Jesus also tells us that He is the way, the truth, and the light. No where does it say a specific religion. I sit heartbroken how two "Christians" can read the exact scripture and come to completely opposite conclusions. I trust the Lord and He gave me the Holy Spirit to teach me. I think it would do us all some good to hit our knees in humility and seek Him. I know that is what I am doing. I only want to know Jesus' truth! Be blessed.

Day 196- I have not posted but as you all know, hurricane Beryl happened. We just got powered restored. We have been a week without power. But by God's amazing hand, we are fine. Now on to the cleanup. And this reminded me about worry. Matthew 6:25- "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?" We have been through some pretty dark storms in the past 30 days. But the one thing that I know for sure, is God has been with us through it all. He has sustained us. He will get us through the rest of it. Jesus is my Rock and my Salvation. He is my Helper, my Comforter.
