WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Membership Privileges:
Members have complimentary access to wifi, unlimited coffee & spring water, custodial services, & limited office supplies such as a stapler, 3-hole punch, tape, pens, scissors, paper cutter, etc. A wireless color printer/copier is also available (not for bulk printing use - keep to 20 pages/day - additional printing/copying available for a small cost).
A kitchen area is available with a fridge, microwave and limited dishware, for general use when not reserved by other members. Parcels can be accepted on your behalf during the hours of 9am-4pm. The entry door is locked after 4pm with keypad entry to provide security measures for our members. Noise Level:
Most of the time the atmosphere in The Bored Room is much like a library; however, short phone calls (4-5 minutes) and quiet conversation are permitted in the main room. For extended phone calls, there is a private room and a small "telephone booth" room (both available upon reservation), as well as a small patio area just outside the back door. If you need total quiet to work, please bring headphones for music or white noise. Private Offices (available for reservation):
Most of the shared space is made up of five computer desks and some seating in an open area (computers not supplied). There is also the kitchen area with a table and large chalkboard/cork board for general use or can be reserved for private meetings. We also have a private meeting room with a desk (seats up to 6 comfortably). In addition, we have what we call "The Telephone Booth", a small, private, nicely decorated room at the back of the building with a desk if you need a confidential, quiet space for a zoom meeting or a telephone call.
