“O Mary, we crown thee with blossoms today, Queen of the Angels, Queen of the May!”

Do you remember the sweet scent of fresh-cut lilies, and the tiny flower crown placed on a blue-robed statue? Let’s recapture that childlike devotion and honor our Blessed Mother together.

Please join us for short Mary Crowning this Sunday, ...step back in time, renew our faith, and share fond memories of our childhood spiritual traditions.

When: Sunday, May 3, immediately after the 8:30 am Mass (approx.9:30am)
What to bring: A flower or bouquet to place at Mary's feet. (optional)

Let us bring flowers of the rarest to our Mother!

Presented by the families/children or our Parish Faith Formation program.

Pray for Our Elect this weekend as they celebrate two very important Rites of the Church. The Rite of Sending and the Rite of Election

This weekend, our parish rejoices as our catechumens will celebrate the Rite of Sending at the 11 am Mass here at St. Bernard. Later this afternoon they will travel to St. Patrick’s for the Rite of Election with Archbishop Fabre. By signing the Book of the Elect at the Rite of Sending, they are officially chosen to receive the Sacraments of Initiation at Easter. Please keep Amanda Baker, Levi Baker, Elvinia Irvin and Lucy Savon in your prayers as they enter this final period of purification and enlightenment, asking God to strengthen them in their journey of faith and conversion. We pray that they feel God's grace strengthen their faith. Let us support them as they say "Yes" to God and move toward full initiation at Easter.
