This is from Matt Scobee... this is a repair affair event this weekend. Would love to see some Knights there...
We finally have a project selected!!! I'll send more details next week but here's a link to the house:

If that link doesn't work, the address is 2201 Date St., 40210.
If you click on the picture, you can actually zoom in and get a pretty good look at what we're up against. From what I saw this morning the dormer window has had some work done to it but I'm not sure that it's 100% repaired, yet.
From what Syl and I saw (and discussed):
We'll be painting the porches (front and back), we'll brush/clean and paint the foundation, we'll scrape and paint the window/door trim, we'll do our best to repair the wood in the front of the porch roof, and we'll try to do some minor repairs to the gutters (i.e. the gutters are in good shape but there are a couple of spots where they need to be straightened out/reinforced).
This house's soffit and some of its trim is maintenance free, so we're mostly looking at the porches, window/door trim, and foundation. We won't have nearly as much "high ladder" work as last year.
The homeowner, Mrs. Sara Young, is an older widow who is thrilled to get some help with needed work on her house. I enjoyed meeting her today and I know you all will too!
Don't forget that we'll be working Saturday, June 10th, starting at 8am (until around 2pm). Lunch and drinks will be provided by Repair Affair/New Directions.
Thanks and please let me know if you have any questions!
Best,
Matt
