During the St. Albert May Procession prayer service today, Fr. Schultz talked to the students about the papal conclave. A few hours later, white smoke billowed from the Sistine Chapel, indicating the election of a new Pope. Students, faculty, and staff quickly gathered in the church to witness this historic announcement live.

Fr. Chris and Fr. Schultz explained to the St. Albert students what was happening, translated what was being said, and led everyone in prayer. It was a truly special celebration filled with excitement and praise as we joyfully welcomed Pope Leo XIV as the new leader of the Catholic Church. These students will remember this special moment forever!

The ninth and last day of the St. Therese healing novena is upon us. Thank you for sharing your stories about how this grace-filled experience has impacted your spiritual life. Tomorrow we will celebrate St. Theres’s Feast Day, but first we have one more healing mass intention tonight for victims of abuse. We hope we will see you at St. Albert the Great Catholic Parish at 5 pm and that you will consider attending the sacrament of Reconciliation following.
