Kentucky Baptist Convention Disaster Relief ministry mobilizes Incident Management Teams to deal with the safety, informational, fiscal, community and other issues that arise with disasters. Among the challenges faced when they travel to a devastated area is finding places where they can even sit and talk with victims about the help they need. Putting families in touch with the agencies and people that can assist them in a complex event requires an organized and technologically equipped office space. Springdale has an opportunity to help meet that challenge by donating items needed to supply a Mobile Incident Command Trailer. Such a trailer would allow the team to "hit the ground running" when they arrive at the disaster area. Rather than spending time finding any place they can, unloading, and setting up an office with computers, printers, and other supplies, they can immediately start to minister to victims. Please stop by the Mission Center any Sunday this month to see what you might donate to help supply the Mobile Incident Trailer. You could help people in devastating crisis and in need of hope that God sends through Kentucky Disaster Relief.
