We are saddened to express our heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of another beloved choir member who has passed away: Bro. Sterling Neal III.

He was an outstanding and talented vocalist with an amazing gift that he shared with us all. He was a committed Temple Choir, and St. Stephen Church member until his health challenges later kept him from attending and participating.

Sterling was truly a GIFTED Baritone/Tenor and an intricate member of the Gospel Harmony group called "In His Image" established by founding member Danny Walker.
He expressed his vocal talents singing throughout this city, blessing everyone who appreciated his presence. He was quiet in terms of his personality and stature, but was BIG in his service to his church and quietly blessing others through singing! We thank God for his contributions to the Music Ministry at SSC, this city, and beyond. He has been and will be truly missed!

His Homegoing Service is scheduled for this Saturday 1/6 at 10:30am (Visitation from 830-1030am) at St. Stephen Church. If you ministered with Sterling you are INVITED to come and participate with the choir! Seeking all former and present Temple Choir Members; we'll meet at 10am in the Rehearsal Hall for a brief music review and prayer; Attire is Black and White combination.
Let's join together and send our Brother in Christ off in remembrance and love!

Good afternoon Temple Family and Friends. We have been looking for you. While St Stephen has several campuses, we are still ONE CHURCH. In the same manner, we have several choirs of the church but we are ONE MINISTRY. With that being said, while things have changed and things look different, we are still looking for your presence and your voice. The Combined CHOIR of St. Stephen church meets every Thursday night at 6:30pm for rehearsal. You are missed and wanted. Please come join us. Also, if you are not a member but it's been on your heart and you can hold a note 😃 come join us. We will welcome you with open arms. Please share this with your fellow St Stephen family.
