Our PREP Confirmation students of St. Albert the Great Catholic Parish went to serve our local community at BBQ for the Homeless last Sunday as a group. We love to see the numerous ways our young people are engaging their faith through acts of service and love. Let us all remember to stop and see those around us and the beauty they hold as children of God.

Last month, our Confirmation students spent time with their Sponsors as part of their formation process as they prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. We ask our St. Albert the Great Catholic Parish and St. Albert the Great School communities to continue to pray for our young people as they open their hearts to this beautiful gift. Come Holy Spirit!

The countdown is on! Just over a month til the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC)!

Chika Anyanwu is a Catholic evangelist, youth & young adult minister, the author of "My Encounter: How I Met Jesus in Prayer," and the Director of Formation and Events for Vagabond Missions. Her love of God and neighbor enthuses her to share the gospel through testimony, scripture, and honest conversations about the difficult realities of faith and life. Chika is a part of a beautiful Nigerian family, loves her coffee black, and desires sainthood for herself and you!

Our Confirmation Class of 2022 has been hard at work volunteering for the Louisville community since this summer. So far, we've visited Waterstep, Love the Hungry, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana - RMHCK, Hope’s Closet Kentucky, Franciscan Kitchen, and a cemetery clean up out at River Valley Cemetery. Below are some pictures from the various events. We are so proud of the servant's hearts we are seeing pour forth from our young people as they continue to Love God, Serve Others, and Be Disciples! Youth from our high school group, Catalyst, had a blast ziplining out at the Gorge yesterday. Perfect weather, beautiful scenery, good pizza, and a wonderful day enjoying one another's company. Truly a day to remember as we were reminded how we put in our trust actively in God on a daily basis. . .
