A note from Fr Bill
Dear parishioners
Every winter we end up having a winter weather event for the weekend, affecting our ability to attend Mass. At St. Martin de Porres Parish and Holy Name Parish we will communicate with you in the following way through e-mail and social media. Generally speaking, as your pastor, if I can driving through it, I will be coming to offer Mass. Parishioners are asked to exercise a prudent decision for themselves and for their family and may come to Sunday mass or may stay home and participate in the Mass through livestream. If I can’t drive through it, then I will notify of a cancellation of Sunday Mass.
1. Sunday Winter Weather Advisory. Conditions are adverse but Mass will be held as scheduled. Parishioners are urged to exercise prudent judgment in whether or not they should be out. Mass may be attended in-person or livestream.
2. Sunday Winter Weather Warning. Conditions are hazardous and Mass is cancelled. Parishioners are urged to stay home. Please pray with livestream Masses or Mass of the Air.
Many thanks for your attention to the matter.
Peace and all blessings,
Fr. Bill
