Yesterday, the theme of service was Hallelujah, which means to give God the highest praise. God has done so much for us seen and unseen. But the one thing he did for us that no one else can is that he gave his life on Calvary so that we could live. And in the midst of that, what have we done to say thank you to him? In the song "Gratitude" by Brandon Lake, the chorus says, " So I throw up my hands, and praise you again and again, cause all that I have is a Halleluhjah, and I know it's not much I have nothing else fit for a king, except for a heart singing hallelujah." All God wants is your praise. All he wants is your Hallelujah. Have you done that today?

Here at New Hope, we are blessed to have the most amazing pastor, Ed Thomas, and our ONLY lady, Renika Thomas. As the month of October, which is Pastor's Appreciation month,comes to a close, we want to say thank you to the shepherds of our flock and show them the appreciation and love they deserve. For today's Words of Encouragement NHMBC Kids Sunday School encouraged us to Fall For Jesus because He never leaves. How many know that God will never leave us nor forsake us. Even when we are in the shadows of death, Our God is with us. That alone should be enough to fall in love with Jesus Christ.
