Resources for Church Leaders

04/08/2015

It's been a while since we updated because so much is going on! Here is a quick recap:

Our Church was feeling like God was calling us to leave Memphis and start meeting in Portland in Louisville. So, we were blessed with a place to meet thanks to Eddie and Jackie.

We have just about emptied out our building and closed it all out.

The new community has been so responsive and such a blessing to all of us. It is amazing how God can change lives and churches in the blink of an eye.

A local Church, Bible Community Fellowship Baptist has been kind enough to let use their baptistery tonight for our first Baptism Service in the new location. The generosity, kindness and friendship has been very humbling for all of us.

Our new address is: 2731 Northwestern Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40212. We are meeting on Sunday Mornings at 11:00. If you are local to Kentuckiana , Please come join us this Sunday. James MaCray will be preaching and we are honored to have a some special musical guests, John and Carmen Gibson.

I know it will be a blessing. See you Sunday.

Many thanks to Jerad and Carrie Burgess and James McCray for representing our church going to Gallup this past weekend. Please pray for the Navajo people and the new church that was started.

Please be in prayer for two of our members Their names are James and Jerad. Tomorrow they are supposed to be going to Gallup, New Mexico to help start a church for the Navajo Nation. Both have fallen very ill. The devil is working very hard to stop this from happening, but "greater is he who is in us than he who is in the world".

Please be in prayer for our church as we are trying to discern God's will in what could be a very bold move. May we seek only to serve Him and those around us. May we have unity in vision.

Trinity has been, from its beginning, a unique work. As I look back on the last 5 years, God has graciously worked in us and through us. He has instilled in us a sense of mission. In the past 5 years he has allowed us to lead people to Christ, disciple new believers and challenge and encourage one another. I know it sounds like a cliché, but but we really have become a family.

In a short 5 years God has allowed us to do some unique missions work too. We have been blessed to be a part of missions work on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, as well as helping in the tornado relief in Henryville and Memphis. Some of our members are going to Gallup, NM this weekend to start a church there (please be praying for them).

God has been good and He will be good forever. We have had so many prayer partners around the country who have been faithful to lift us up in prayer. I am very grateful to all of you, and I thank God for you.

God is at work at Trinity. "Where He leads- We will follow".
