Jr. High/New Horizons Camp wrapped up today with lots of parents, grandparents, siblings and even an uncle joining us for closing Eucharist. Thankful for the outstanding ministries of our Chaplains, Emily Crouch and Harvey Roberts. Our staff finished strong, leaving everything clean and tidy and put away til next year. Me? I’m feeling groovy.

At the lake, it’s different strokes for different folks. Harvey, sporting a cool Hawaiian shirt, watches from shallows. Mother/daughter team Emily and Charlotte enjoyed a paddle board outing. Kate floated and relaxed. Aidan flung himself off the deck in his customary manner. Kaleigh and Don went for a biggest splash as a twosome, Maritza sunned and swam and JJ looked happy on his board. The lake is a crowd pleaser.

Skit time with the story of the loaves and fishes, written as a story about a boy who gave away his lunch - a lunch Jesus blessed and broke into peices to feed a whole buncha people with loads of leftovers. Who’s gonna feed all deez people? I can see! It’s a miracle! It’s a miracle! Loving these Primary campers. Did you catch that goose/duck/tiger?

At Primary Camp we’re talking about superheroes and superpowers. Stephen fancies the idea of Teleporting, which he illustrates on the right, while Sylvan made a go at illustrating the hard to draw concept of Invisibility. Those are both powers Daniel might have wished he had during his stay at the Lion’s Den. Turns out, trusting God was all the super power he needed.
