Tomorrow, Wednesday, volunteers meet to plan this year's Friendship International. We meet at 10:00 a.m. at Walnut Street Baptist Church. Next Wednesday, Internationals will meet at 9:00. Remember, we follow JCPS school calendar.

Volunteer Meeting for Friendship International will be Aug. 26, 2026. Internationals will have their first day on Sept. 8, 2026. Please get the word out because a lot of the people who came last year do not have an email. We will have some transportation challenges this year.

Today was the last day for Friendship International for this 2025-26 year until September.
We had 53 internationals and representation from 13 countries this year. We teach various levels of English, classes in sewing, crocheting, and Bible classes. This outreach is sponsored by what was once called Women's Mission Union and now called Louisville Regional Baptist Association. We meet at Walnut Street Baptist Church every Wednesday from 9:00 to 11:45 a.m. we meet when JCPS is in session. We need more volunteers. We need a secretary, and arts and crafts teacher, or any class wherein the volunteer is talented. Two internationals became believers in Christ! The sewing class showed off their projects as did the crocheting class.
