Word of the Day Psalm
104:30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.

As this year comes to a close. You have had wins and loses. They may not he equal, there maybe more loses than wins.
Tomorrow starts a new year. What is in the past is in the past. Leave it there and press forward.
Let God renew you and be the best you this year. You are more than your past. You have a blank canvas to start with or a clean slate.
Leave the negativity and disappointment behind. If it is a person or a personality don't let it or them in.
"Ships don't sink because of the water around it. It sinks from the water that gets in it. Don't let what is happening around you get inside you and weigh you down."
This will be the last post from this page unless directed other wise. We have not gone away, only changed the name. Hope to see you in this next year. Come see what God is doing at Souls United.

Word of the Day Proverbs
3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.3:14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.3:15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.3:16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.3:17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.3:18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.

This is in shirt supply today. We are more interested in how many followers are likes to our post. It's evident in any leadership, ruling by what is popular with the people. Rather than what is right and just. Laws and rules are necessary to government. Wisdom is learning from others mistakes to not repeat. Rome and Greece both failed do lines being blurred and given everyone what they wanted.

Amen.
The task seems simple in text. But the ex*****on is the problem. You have heard the phrase "You had one job!" usually said to someone with a simple task and messed it up.
Will Jesus say to you on the day of judgment. "You had one job!"

We all have this struggle. Ready for the Lord to take us home. But I was also wondering about the people I care about. Same God that will get me through will get them through. This is the promise God has made us. Psalm37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

For those who are struggling with people at your work or family that say cruel things. This Psalm is for you.

Kingdoms and the president's come and go, but the Lord remaineth forever.
Verse 5 states my expectation is in Him.

Is it all about you or others?
I'll start. My expectation is that. He will do what He said He would do. When I do what I am supposed to do.

Word of the Day Psalm
41:1 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.41:2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
When I read this this morning. I thought about the part in "The Christmas Carol". "Mankind was my business."
We expect the Lord to deliver us from trouble.
My question is, are you doing your part? (see verse1)

Word of the Day
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

There are 3 substances or matter. Solid, liquid or gas.
A solid can be seen and felt. A liquid can be seen and felt. A gas cannot be seen and often they are without a smell. We can be unaware of its presence.
Are faith has to be without sight at times.
