Looking for a way to help your Acteens form a deeper spiritual base for their lives? Our new Spiritual Formation for Students course was designed to equip leaders with the tools needed to lead students to develop disciplines of Bible study, prayer and sharing their faith.

Leaders are encouraged to take the course, download the resources, and lead their Acteens group in this study.

How are you gathering with your Acteens while staying ? I had the privilege of hanging out with the Acteens from Barlow Cathy Childress Terrell. We learned about Ms who serve in the Middle East and how cultural differences can influence how we reach another culture group. We even prayed for our Ms in their birthdays! “pray & never give up.”

prayer is so important, especially in times like these. when times of trouble come, we tend to worry first before we pray, but God wants us to pray. God is greater than whatever may come our way. Jesus has told us to take heart, for He has already overcome the world! what a sweet reminder! times can be exhausting, they can be scary, but never stop praying. don’t give up, you aren’t fighting alone, God is by your side & He goes before you. when trouble strikes, that doesn’t mean game over, it is just a reminder that whatever may come your way, God has already defeated it. pray wholeheartedly, pray boldly, pray while being expectant. during this time, pray specifically for our nation & our world. pray for our leaders, doctors, nurses, & all those working in hospitals & doctor offices. pray for those working in grocery stores & those out delivering. pray for all those affected by this. pray that through this, all will come to see Who God truly is & that until we, as a nation, as a world, fall on our knees & surrender our all to God.... we won’t have the peace & stability & unification we constantly seek for. pray. pray. pray. & never give up.
