While Louisville is filled with celebration… we are in clubs, having conversations that matter.

Meals are being shared.
Names are being learned.
Prayers are being spoken.

This is what it looks like to show up in the middle of it.

Not for a moment. But for relationship.

And even now, God is moving in ways we may not fully see yet.

Thank you for being part of this with us.

Pray with us today for the women we are meeting and the conversations happening right now.

“Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tried you in the furnace of affliction. For my own sake, for my own sake, I do it, for how should my name be profaned? My glory I will not give to another.”
Isaiah 48:10-11 ESV

I encourage you all to watch this video Joni Eareckson Tada made about afflictions. She thanked God for every affliction He ever gave her because where would she be without them? Where would we all be? When we’re backed up against a spiritual wall, that’s the only time we yield to the Potter and what He wants to mold us into. The design He’s had in mind for us since the beginning of time.

It’s hard to hear, but sometimes the truest things are the hardest.

“I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, your transgressions,
and, as a cloud, your sins. Return to me, for I have redeemed you.”
Isaiah 44:22 (WEBUS)

Do you know what it means to be "redeemed by the blood of the Lamb?"

God doesn’t send people to hell as if He’s angrily tossing souls into a pit. Scripture paints a different picture entirely. Humanity is already headed toward destruction—already drifting, drowning, and lost.

The default direction of a broken world is away from God. But the heart of God is always toward us. So, He steps in and interrupts the trajectory.

God doesn’t stand at the edge of eternity with a scowl. He stands with open arms, saying: “Return to Me. I’ve already made a way home.”

And when you realize you were already on the road to destruction…
That God stepped in long before you knew how to ask…
That He blotted out your sins like a cloud you can’t even see through anymore…

You can’t help but be thankful. To return and worship.

In Power Lunch on Thursdays, we’ve been talking about the building and dedication of Solomon’s temple.

Did you know that on May 17, 2026, just before our nation’s 250th birthday, there will be a national dedication - a day of prayer and fasting?

In today’s edition of Give Him 15, Dutch Sheets talks about it. And he prays Solomon’s prayer of dedication.

“… so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the Lord is God; there is no one else. Let your heart therefore be wholly devoted to the Lord our God, to walk in His statutes and to keep His commandments, as at this day.’

Amen!

The final keyword in The Shema is "me-od," which is translated "strength." But it may be better translated "muchness," as this video explains.

What would it look like for you to love God with your "muchness?"

We've heard the word "soul" described as "mind, will, and emotions." But the Hebrew word, "nephesh," which is often translated in our Bible as "soul" is slightly different than that, as this video shows.

Do you know what the Bible means when it says to love God with your whole heart? Watch this video and find out!

We'd love to see you back at church this Sunday. 😁

We love because He first loved us (1 John 4:19).
Here's an in-depth look at what the Hebrew word ahavah means.
