First Baptist Church of Louisville, GA Our worship services are Christ-centered. The service begins at 11 a.m. and lasts for about an hour. Our music is a mix of both hymns and modern worship songs.

You’ll hear a message based on the Bible, and that helps you apply the verses to everyday life. During the sermon time, we offer Children’s Church for your elementary age kids.

CHRISTMAS CHOIR PROJECT

Have you ever wanted to sing with the choir at Christmas, but weren’t sure you could commit long-term? This is a wonderful opportunity to join us just for the season.

We are inviting new and returning singers to be part of our Christmas Choir Project as we prepare "Hallelujah Noel" for presentation on Sunday, December 20.

Christmas Choir Kickoff: Wednesday, September 30
Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 6:30–7:30 PM
Performance: Sunday, December 20

No long-term choir commitment is required—just come, sing, fellowship, worship, and celebrate the joy of Christmas with us.

Church family, this Sunday, September 13, we are setting aside the day for fasting and prayer. We will begin Sunday morning and continue until 6:00 p.m.

Fasting means humbling our souls before God by going without something so we can seek Him through focused prayer. For most people, this will mean going without food for the day. If a food fast isn't medically safe for you, consider setting aside something meaningful, such as social media, entertainment, sweets, or another regular comfort.

During the fast, we will pray for:

God to deepen our desire to follow Him so greatly that whatever sacrifice He asks of us becomes unquestionable.
Someone in our lives who needs God’s intervention, especially a lost person or a struggling believer.
A spiritual need in our own lives.
When you feel hungry or think about what you have set aside, let that feeling remind you to stop and pray. The purpose is not simply to go without. The purpose is to seek God.
