Happy Feast of St. Patrick! When Father McGivney founded the Knights of Columbus in 1882, St. Mary’s Parish was home to the Irish immigrant community of New Haven, CT. Boy did we pack the O’Brien Hall for the Pancake Breakfast on Sunday morning. We had to make emergency supply runs to keep up with the demand! Could St. Louis Bertrand Church get any bigger?

Also farewell to Fr. Pier Giorgio Dengler, who is being reassigned to become pastor at St. Rose Church in Springfield KY. He was a blessing to all of us and will surely be missed.

We’re making pancakes this Sunday after the 9am and 10:30am Mass at St. Louis Bertrand Church if anyone’s feeling hungry afterwards. There’s also going to be a going away reception coeciding with the breakfast (after the 10:30am Mass) for Fr. Pier Gorgio Dengler O.P. who’s leaving us to become pastor at St. Rose in Springfield KY. You don’t want to miss that as well!
