We just celebrated an incredible moment in the life of our church, honoring 155 years of ministry and 31 years of devoted pastoral leadership. Standing in a sanctuary built on prayer, perseverance, and unwavering faith, we reflected on how far God has brought Centennial Olivet Baptist Church.

Thank you, Rev. Dr. Wilbur Browning Sr., for being a great shepherd of God’s people — for teaching, for guiding, for showing us what steadfast leadership truly looks like. Your consistency, your compassion, and your faithfulness continue to shape our church family in ways big and small.

Random Fact: , traces its roots to 1870 when founded as “The Community of Baptist Brothering” by nine men near Todds Point, later becoming Centennial Olivet around 1880
