Do you remember that electrifying feeling you used to have the night before the first day of school? The thrill of meeting new friends, the promise of fun, and of course, the delicious treats!

Join us tomorrow for our Community Festival on Saturday, June 6th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM!

Trust us, you won’t want to miss out! Pre-registration is a breeze—just a quick and easy form to fill out. Click on the link below to pre-register.

Upon arrival, please stop by our registration table. After you fill out the waiver of liability form, our friendly staff will hook you up with an awesome arm band. This nifty band grants you access to all the thrilling fun: conquer the rock-climbing wall, zoom down the water slide, hop aboard the train, and bounce your heart out in the bounce house!

And guess what? The best part is that it’s all free! No strings attached!

So, gather your family and friends and meet us at Flat Rock tomorrow. Let’s make some unforgettable memories together!

Light up your summer at Illumination Station. Like the disciples, kids will be challenged to answer Jesus' question, "Who do you say that I am?" Jesus is who Scripture says He is - the perfect, proven, and powerful Son of God. Register for VBS today!

Oh, the excitement is in the air! Our VBS team is diligently reviewing lesson plans, organizing supplies, decorating, and most importantly, praying for your children.

Registration is now open, and we encourage you to register your children as soon as possible, preferably before the first night. This also applies to our VBS workers—please remember to register online.

Hey parents!

Summer is just around the corner, and we know the kiddos are basically bouncing off the walls with excitement! You know what? We are too!

Let's kick off the summer fun with a community festival. We're talking bounce house, rock climbing wall, water slide, and a train! The train conductor enjoys driving the train as much as the kids like to ride!

And don't even get us started on the grub: hamburgers, hot dogs, ice cream, cotton candy, and popcorn! Who's ready for a summer festival?

God is moving in a powerful way, and we want to give Him all the glory and praise. As stated in Matthew 28:19, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

If you were unable to join us today, you missed a wonderful opportunity to witness God working in several people's lives. It was a special time of worship as we celebrated our recent high school and college graduates and baptized nine individuals. Here are a few highlights from this morning.

Happy Memorial Day – a simple yet profound phrase!

Memorial Day is celebrated on the last Monday of May. Did you know this day was previously known as Decoration Day or Remembrance Day? Our nation has recognized it since the 1880s.

Memorial Day is not merely a day off from work; it is a special occasion set aside to honor the brave men and women who answered the call to serve their country and made the ultimate sacrifice by giving their lives to protect the freedoms we often take for granted. It is important to note that Memorial Day should not be confused with Veterans Day, which honors living veterans.

Growing up, some people were taught that Memorial Day marks the official start of the summer season. Many host cookouts with family and friends, celebrating the holiday. However, some families find this weekend bittersweet as they bear the recognition of being a Gold Star Family, having lost a loved one in service.

As John 15:13 reminds us, "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends."

Take time this weekend to pray specifically for our nation, military members, public safety officials, teachers, medical professionals, pastors, the Church, families, and friends. Remember to thank God for His blessings and protection.

Parents, this post is for you (and them!) Get your kids out of the house and on the way to Flat Rock Baptist Church for Vacation Bible School!

At Illumination Station, kids will explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals while discovering that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world. Y'all, summer is where imaginations soar, memories are made, and the temperature will be as high as the excitement of the children playing and laughing.

Would you like to start the summer with a festival? I'm guessing the kiddos (and let's be real, their parents too) would shout 'Yes, count us in! 😀🙃

Join us for a fun-filled Community Festival on Saturday, June 6th, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Who is up for a bounce house, water slide, rock climbing wall, cake walk, and food? Why food? Because we are Baptists and we love to eat, but we also love serving others and joining with them in fellowship!

Don't worry, there will be plenty of treats and activities to help keep the kids cool and the good times rollin'!
