Barbara Ellen Osburn, age 61, of Kermit, WV peacefully transitioned to her heavenly home on June 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on November 19, 1964, to the late Harlan Ray and Esta Arlene Kirk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Lee Davis. Barbara is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Allen Gene Osburn of Kermit, WV, two daughters, Mallory Davis (Joseph) Howard of Prestonsburg, KY and Nicole Arlene (Brett) Watson of Prestonsburg, KY, two sisters, Sherry Lane (Mike) Moore of Paintsville, KY and Mia Meshell (Ricky) Ray of Kermit, WV, three grandchildren, Kiley Watson, Willow Watson, and Holden Howard, a host of nieces and nephews, and her best friend of over 40 years, Diana Parsley. Barbara was a loving wife and mother, but most of all beloved Nana to her precious grandchildren. She will forever be remembered for her wit, her strong personality and the bold way she moved through life. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered each day. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 2, 2026 at 1 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Garden in Louisa, KY. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 PM to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez, KY.

Randy Scott Wright, 37, of Louisa, KY passed away May 9, 2026. Randy was born July 1, 1988 in Louisa, KY to Randall Scott and Rebecca (Lyons) Wright.

Randy loved riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his parents Randall and Rebecca Wright; wife Sonya Fitzgerald Wright; children Alexandria, Randy Scott "Bubby", Izabella, and Cierra; sister and brother in law April and Paul White; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister Angela Nicole Wright and brother James Earl Wright.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the Young Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 11:00 AM until time of service in the Young Funeral Home Chapel.

Lillian Stacy, age 83, of Inez, KY, passed away May 5, 2026, at Highlands ARH in Prestonsburg, KY. She was born on March 3, 1943, to the late Jeff and Eistie (Jude) Fletcher. In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Stacy, son, David Stacy, stepmother, Lassie Fletcher, six brothers, Arthur Fletcher, Johnny Fletcher, Matt Fletcher, Oscar Fletcher, Joe Fletcher, Henry Fletcher, and five sisters, Elizabeth Howell, Mae Staton, Dolly Maynard, Gracie Fletcher, and Margaret Fletcher.

Lillian is survived by one son, Danny Stacy (Donna), five daughters, Alesia Hunt (Gary) of Delbarton, WV, Trish Callaham (Russ) of Inez, KY, Tina “Bean” McPeek (Roger) of Pikeville, KY, Cristy Kilburn (Tim) of Martin, KY, and Misty Cassady (James) of Coldwater, KY, three brothers, Melvin Fletcher of Inez, KY, Arnold Fletcher of Lomansville, KY, and Glen Fletcher of Inez, KY, two sisters, Rea Staton of Jackson, MI and Janet Jude of Debord, KY. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Megan Jude (Ervin Joe), William Tyler Preston, David A. Stacy, Timmy Fletcher, Bryson Burchett, Isiah Hunt, Kayleigh Hunt, Matt McPeek (Ashley), Kyle McPeek (Kirstyn), Lexi Chapman, and Cassie Thompson, nine great grandchildren, Brantley Cole Jude, Lily and Lyla Jude “Mama’s Babies”, Scarlett McPeek, Beau McPeek, Ezra Adams, Ella Thompson, Eloise Chapman, River Cole Alexander and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to her wonderful caregiver, Amy Carter.

Lillian will be sadly missed by all those who knew her and loved her.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 1PM, in the Chapel of the Crum Funeral Home. Buddy Stacy and David Stacy will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverview Memorial Gardens of Louisa, KY. Friends may visit the funeral home on Thursday, May 7, 2026, and Friday, May 8, 2026, from 6PM to 9PM, with special services each night.

Ruth Amelia Stepp

Mrs. Ruth Amelia Stepp, born December 24, 1934 passed away on May 3, 2026 at her home in Inez, KY. She was named after longtime local physician Dr. William N. Keith’s wife, Ruth A. Keith. Ruth attended Pikeville College and Morehead State College to obtain her teaching degree. Mrs. Stepp taught in a one-room schoolhouse at Buffalo Horn then moved to Turkey Elementary and finished her career teaching at Inez Middle School. She began teaching at age 19 and taught until 1992. Ruth was an accomplished, meticulous seamstress throughout her life until she lost her eyesight due to wet macular degeneration.
Ruth is survived by four children, John R. Stepp (Alice), R. Michelle Cassady (Mike), J. Keith Stepp (Frankie), and L. Renae Walter (Ronnie). She is also survived by her adored grandchildren Alex Cassady (Phyllis), Andrew Cassady (Sarah), Ben Stepp (Emily), Samuel Justice and Nicholas Justice. Also surviving are three step-granddaughters Alysa (Nick) Mitchell, Sierra (Dakota)Walter, Jaslyn Walter. She greatly loved her surviving great grandsons Camden Cassady, Cade Cassady, and her step-granddaughters MacKenzie Sandlin and Kadence Sandlin
Ruth was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 62 years, John Boone Stepp, her mother, Telia Cassady, father, Granville Cassady, beloved granddaughter Margaret (Maggie) Stepp and step-great grandson Korbyn Thurner.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters Corrine Hamilton, June Phillips, Caroline Cassady and four brothers Dewey Cassady, Augustus (Gus) Cassady, Warren Cassady and Holmes Cassady.
Ruth loved the Lord and was a member of Inez First Baptist Church. She served many years as a Sunday School teacher at the church.
Her family expresses great appreciation to her devoted caregivers Angie Williams, Vicky Mahan, and Nick Justice.
At Ruth’s request, a graveside only service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, 11:00 a.m., at Riverview Memorial Gardens. Garmon Preece will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Inez First Baptist Church building fund.

Connie Sue Rager, of Crum, WV, passed away on April 10, 2026, at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, Kentucky. She was born on July 28, 1946, to the late Ermal and Goldie Walker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Polly Burke; her brother, Walter Ray; her great-niece, Kennadi Mollett; and her ex-husband, Gary Rager.

Connie is survived by her loving daughter, Jody (Jay) Jude of Crum, WV; her cherished granddaughters, Lysina (Hunter) Newsome, Carlee, Shyla, and Jerzee Jude; along with many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. She is also survived by her sister, Joyce (Jack) Evans of Columbus, OH, and her brothers, Gary (Treva) Walker and Jay (Wanda) Walker, both of Crum, WV.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, April 13, 2025 at the Warfield Chapel of Callaham Funeral Home in Warfield, KY with Greenway Parsley officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Louisa, KY. Friends may visit at the chapel on Sunday from 6:00-9:00pm. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, KY.

Vina Sue Maynard Preece, age 88 of Debord KY, passed away March 14, 2026 at her residence. She was born November 27, 1937 to the late Benjamin Franklin Maynard and Vicie Fletcher Maynard. She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Boone Preece, along with her brothers, James Maynard, Alex Maynard, Chester Maynard, Bob Maynard, and Richard Maynard, and her sisters, Mary Justice, Violet Harmon, Omie Adkins, Rebecca Sartin, and Mavis Preece. She leaves behind her five children, Gary Daniel Preece of Georgetown, KY, Roger Dale (Brenda) Preece of Venters Branch, William Howard Preece of Inez, KY, William Michael Preece of Georgetown, KY, and Sheila Denise (Danny) Adkins of Flatwoods, KY. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Matthew Preece, Megan Preece, Lakin Allen, Ada Preece, Mallory (Chucky) Jarrell, Missy (Brady) Baker, Austin (Lauren) Adkins, Adam (Halie) Adkins, and Ella Adkins, and her great grandchildren, Malea, Madix, Ethan, Silas, Jaxson, Hailey, Sydney, Jaxon, Ryker, and Harvey.

Rosa Lee (Copley) Mills Wallace, 78, of Prichard, WV departed from this life Monday, March 2, 2026. Rosa was born January 23, 1948 in Webb, WV to the late Lester (Cabbage) and Frances Copley. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husbands Billy Mills and Jarvie Wallace; a son James "Mikey" Mills; a brother Roger Copley; a sister Barbara Waller; and a son-in-law Richard Doss Jr.

She was a Health Care Provider.

She leaves behind one son William "Hoss" Mills of Prichard, WV; one daughter Jessica Doss of Fort Gay, WV; 12 Grandchildren Amber Doss, Marissa Doss, Marcus "Andrew" Mills, Billy "Chris" (Breann) Mills, Austin (Elizabeth) Anderson, Emilee (Geoffrey) Bowling, Paskell (aly) Doss, William Mills, Katelyn Mills, Colton Mills, Corbin Mills, and Payton (Vicky) Doss; 12 great grandchildren Braiden Branam, Landon and Lucas Johnson, Audreyanna Prater, Bentley Napier, Annaleigh Mills, Everleigh Mills, Tate Doss, Isla Bowling, Xander Martin-Mills, and Willow and Lily Doss.

Edna (Fraley) Evans, age 87 of Debord, KY, passed away on February 26, 2026, at her residence. She was born on June 25, 1938, to the late Langley and Maude (Goble) Fraley in Inez, KY. In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Evans, one daughter, Barbara Goble, and three brothers, John Fraley, Thomas "Mick" Fraley, and Jim Fraley. She is survived by one son, Larry Michael (Amy) Evans of Debord, KY, and one granddaughter, Lily Evans.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 12 PM in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home with James Maynard officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens in Louisa, KY. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday, February 27th from 6 PM to 9 PM.
