🌶️🍰 What a blessing it was to spend this time together!

Thank you to everyone who participated in our "Tongues of Fire" Chili Cook-Off and Dessert Auction. We enjoyed a wonderful time filled with laughter, fellowship, and fun, all for a great cause: raising funds for our children's future playground.

Pergamum and Thyatira share the same disease with different symptoms: both opened the door to teachers who said accommodation to the culture’s economic and religious demands was harmless — and both are told the door leads straight to the dragon.

Demonic spirits don’t just invade — they grow where they are nurtured. The church is a garden: what we water is what grows. The spirits that have the most influence over us are the ones we ourselves feed.

The seven letters are not ancient church-improvement memos — they are a diagnostic mirror the risen Christ holds up to every congregation in every era. Each church is being pressed by a specific spirit of the beast, disguising itself as the Spirit of God and trying to lock the doors so Jesus can’t get in.

Join us for this powerful sermon series as Pastor Raul walks us through the entire book of Revelation and helps us recognize its place in our world today.

John's word to the churches is his word to ours: the beast is not some future figure with a numbered forehead — it is every system, ideology, and political power that claims divine authority and coerces absolute allegiance. Over the course of the series we will move from the risen Christ standing among his churches, through the cosmic liturgy that reveals who truly holds the scroll of history, into the deepening crack in earthly systems, and then fully into the belly of the beast — the political, propagandist, economic, and ideological machinery of empire that Revelation calls the beast, the false prophet, and Babylon.

The series ends not in disaster but in hope: the city of God descends, the beast is absent, and the only mark anyone bears is the name of the Lamb.

The congregation is being invited into a decision: whose mark do they bear, and whose song do they sing?
