Our Youth Day was a beautiful celebration of the 80th Anniversary of YPG!

Our theme, “Don’t Forget the Stones” (Joshua 4:6–7), reminded us to remember God’s faithfulness and the legacy we’ve received. As we celebrated 80 years since the founding of the Young People’s Group by Bishop D.L. Walters in June 1946, our youth built a memorial with stones representing prayer, the Word of God, faith, love, unity, perseverance, holiness, evangelism, service, sacrifice, and legacy; a symbol of the foundation laid by our founder and those who came before us, our commitment to remember God’s faithfulness, and our responsibility to faithfully pass that legacy on to future generations.

Happy 80th Anniversary, YPG! The legacy lives on. GoForward
