The victim’s parents alleged that she was killed by a group of stalkers who had 'gang-r**ed' her around two weeks ago.

ASP Sarker said police are investigating the incident. “Details will be known after the autopsy.”

Regarding the earlier r**e allegation, Md Kamal Hosaain, officer-in-charge of Madhabdi Police Station, said police were unaware of any such incident, as no complaint had been filed.

Police today recovered the body from a crop field in Narsingdi’s Madhabdi upazila.🥲
