Exciting news from our Los Angeles Stake Presidency: Elevator construction will start on Monday, February 16, hence our Wilshire 3 Ward’s entire Library needs to be cleaned out before then. 📌 Ward Building Safe to Use Again
Dear Wilshire 3rd Ward Members,

LADWP completed the work on our electrical issues and the building is now safe for us to resume our normal use. There are some lingering issues with lights in the parking lot and courtyard which will still be addressed by the church facility managers, but it does not present any danger to our members. Please pass this message on to those in our ward who may not be receiving ward emails.

We are so blessed to have such an amazing historic chapel to use for our ward activities and worship services. I am looking forward to seeing all of your loving faces in the near future at the Wilshire 3rd Ward!

Estimados Miembros del Barrio 3 de Wilshire:

LADWP finalizó las reparaciones eléctricas y el edificio ya está seguro para que podamos reanudar su uso normal. Hay algunos problemas persistentes con las luces del estacionamiento y el patio, que aún serán solucionados por los administradores de las instalaciones de la iglesia, pero no representan ningún peligro para nuestros miembros. 윌셔 제3와드 회원 여러분께,

LADWP(로스앤젤레스 수도전력국)에서 전기 관련 공사를 완료하여 이제 건물을 안전하게 다시 사용할 수 있게 되었습니다. 주차장과 안뜰 조명에 약간의 문제가 남아 있지만, 교회 시설 관리팀에서 추후에 해결할 예정입니다. 하지만 이는 회원 여러분의 안전에 전혀 지장을 주지 않습니다. 와드 이메일을 받지 못하는 회원분들께도 이 소식을 전달해 주시기 바랍니다.

👋 [Español/English/한국인] 📌Edificio de la iglesia CERRADO nuevamente el miércoles📌

Estimados miembros del Barrio 3 de Wilshire:

ACTUALIZACIÓN: La compañía eléctrica LADWP no ha podido resolver nuestros problemas de iluminación. Por lo tanto, también tendremos que cancelar todas las reuniones en el edificio de la iglesia el miércoles 28 de enero. Espero que mañana haya un plan para solucionar nuestro problema.

Les enviaré un correo electrónico actualizado tan pronto como reciba una estimación sobre cuándo podremos regresar a nuestro edificio. Hasta entonces, por favor, manténganse seguros y cerca del Salvador. Sin importar los problemas que encontremos en nuestras vidas, Él es quien puede sanarnos y guiarnos al gozo, la paz y el amor eternos.

📌Church Building CLOSED again on Wednesday📌
Dear Wilshire 3rd Ward Members,

UPDATE: LADWP Electric Company has not been able to resolve our lighting issues. Therefore, we will need to cancel all meetings held in the church building on Wednesday, January 28th as well. I am hopeful there will be a plan to address our issue sometime tomorrow.

I will send an updated email as soon as I receive any estimate about when we can return to our building. Until then, please stay safe and close to the Savior. No matter what problems we encounter in our lives, He is the one who can heal us and lead us to Eternal Joy, Peace and Love.

We have discovered a problem with the electricity in our Manhattan church building. This has the potential of being a fire hazard. Therefore, all activities for tonight, Tuesday, January 27 will be canceled. I should have an update on the issue tonight and then I will let you know how long the building will remain off limits.
