At Founders Metropolitan Community Church we see serving the material needs of the community and wiring toward a just world as two sides of the same coin. Social Well-Being programs include the monthly Brown Bag Lunch project serving the homeless, free Laundry Love services for the homeless and working poor, Game Night with GLBT seniors at Triangle Square, and a weekly HopeNet Food Pantry. Through
out its history FMCC has been in the forefront of the movement for LGBT equality, and has been integrally involved in the related campaigns for the liberation of all the oppressed and disenfranchised locally and globally. This Founders MCC Social Justice Ministries page will keep you up to date on relevant events and opportunities to network and participate in the prophetic work that calls us. "The Spirit of God is on me,
because God has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor. God has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners
and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free,
to proclaim the year of God's favor."
