Diakonia Ministry - Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Los Angeles Diakonia Misnitry is the arm of LA diocese to serve the individuals within and through the Coptic community to present everyone perfect in Christ.

Diakonia and Development Department. Under the auspices of our beloved Metropolitan Abba Serapion and the management of our beloved Bishop Abba Abraham Diakonia and Development Department is established to serve our diocese in the following fields:
1- Seniors ministry
2- New Comers Service
3- Arabic Youth Service
4- Free Indeed Ministry (addiction)
5- Prisons Ministry
6- Foster Homes Service

Diakonia and Development Department:

The arm of the diocese to serve the individual in different stage of life regardless of language or gender, within and through the Coptic community to present everyone perfect in Christ. It is the backbone of the orthodox understating of God’s love to humanity
It is the service of washing the feet of your neighbor

احتفل نيافة الحبر الجليل الانبا أبراهام بالقداس الالهي في العيد العاشر لرسامه نيافته اسقفا و ذلك اليوم الجمعه ١٢ يونيو ٢٠٢٦ حضر القداس مع نيافته عدد من آباء الكهنه بالابروشية وعدد من أولاده.

H.G Bishop Abraham celebrated the Divine Liturgy today, Friday, June 12, 2026, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of his episcopal ordination. The Divine Liturgy was attended by a number of the Diocese’s Clergy and a number of his children.

The Coptic Orthodox Bishops of North America gathered at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana from June 6–8, 2026, for a theological consultation on “St. Athanasius and the Work of Salvation.”

The gathering included lectures, fellowship, and the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, reflecting on the teachings of St. Athanasius and the mystery of salvation.

May God bless every work for the glory of His holy Name.
