Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries

Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries Every day we perpetuate the memory of the loved, provide solace to the bereaved and above all, serve

Mount Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries is the largest Jewish mortuary & cemetery organization in California

For over sixty years, we have been serving the Jewish community of Los Angeles by honoring the deceased and serving the living with all of the respect dictated by our Jewish heritage and tradition. Mount Sinai is dedicated to the Jewish community as a service of Sinai Temple of Los Angeles and we are sensitive to the languages, customs and traditions of every segment of our community.

This World Environment Day, we’re reflecting on the beauty of honoring life while caring for the earth.

Surrounded by the rolling hills and peaceful landscape of Simi Valley, our park offers a serene setting designed to bring comfort, connection, and harmony with nature. From native scenery to our licensed green burial area, every detail reflects a commitment to sustainability, simplicity, and respect for the natural world.

As we look toward the future, we remain grateful for spaces that allow families to celebrate life in ways that are both meaningful and environmentally conscious.

There is so much beauty within our parks. Sometimes just walking the park can be healing. Is there a spot in Hollywood or Simi that brings you peace?

We’re proud to share that our Director of Advance Planning, Kimber Sax, joined the Women’s Leadership Circle in volunteering at A Place Called Home in South Central Los Angeles last month.

Together, volunteers packaged groceries for 200 families, prepared plants to help families grow their own vegetables at home, and painted doors to help beautify the campus.

A meaningful day of service, community, and giving back.

We are honored to be a part of your family's journey.

A meaningful day for advisor, Stephanie Rosenbaum at the WIZO Mother’s Day Luncheon earlier this month. 💐

It was so special for Steph to be with honoree Kathy Mannheim at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, and to hear her beautiful daily mantra: “Thank you for everything that I have and thank you for everything I don’t have.”

Also a full-circle moment when she reconnected with Susanne Reyto (from her days with Hadassah and Holocaust Museum LA). Her work with the Violins of the Holocaust and her writing continue to inspire. They are excited for a future WIZO book event together!
