Resolving Distrust of God Workshop - 8 pm Mar 30
Distrust of God can rob us of joy and prevent us from living the abundant life that Jesus promised us. It often stems from previous difficult experiences in our lives, and we all tend to carry it. It affects our ability to follow Him with childlike faith. Through discussion, reflection, and listening to God exercises we will discover one or more areas where we distrust God, identify some reasons for that, and replace the inherent lies behind the distrust so that we can approach God more freely and confidently. What joy awaits us when we discover that God's character is so much better than we can imagine!
Who: The workshops are designed for first-time guests as well as those who have joined in the past. Please feel free to invite anyone you wish!
When: 8 pm - 10:15 pm on Thursday March 30
Where: A home in the Arts District. Please email [email protected] to RSVP and get the location.
What to bring: Please bring a Bible, journal, and pen. If you are inspired, feel free to also bring a drink or snack to share, but absolutely no pressure to bring anything other than yourself.
These workshops are intended to deepen relationship with God by engaging Him in a 2-way process of communication. Through them we will gain practice in hearing God and also engage God in areas that will bring us life and transform our inner being. We hold the workshops monthly.
