The Word for Today: Signed, sealed and delivered.

Genesis 2:3

“Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it He rested from all the work of creating that He had done.”

First of all the calendar is not incorrect, man’s understand of Yahweh’s Laws is for Yahweh did not anoint the first day of the week but rather after His resurrection He gave it to us to work in His Name for His glory (Matthew 28:1-10, Mark 16:1-7, Luke 24:1-7, John 20:1-17). As per Genesis 2:4-15, in the midst of all of the creation of Yahweh, He created us to take care of His all that He created (Genesis 1:26-31). No matter what the circumstances are, Yahweh has placed us in charge of that which is His (Genesis 7:1-5, Genesis 9:1-17, Matthew 28:18-20). He creates, renews and restores all and then He passes off to us the responsibility of, as His trusted servants, to monitor, maintain and care for His property (John 21:15-17, Acts 6:1-7, Ephesians 4:11-16). This means to respect all of His ordinances and stop changing things to suit ourselves (John 14:15-17, Revelation 14:12). As per 2 Peter 3:1-9, a great many of the “churched” people would say that His “laws” and ways are arbitrary and can be re-stated or that it doesn’t matter how we keep them as long as we keep them with “good” intentions but this “worldly” belief system is only a lie of the enemy for this is blasphemy (Daniel 7:21-25). This is why that as per Revelation Chapters 21 and 22, He is soon to return (again) in order to put back in place the original plan that He created from the beginning in order that we who seek to follow Him can do as He says and care for all that is His (Genesis 1, Revelation 7:9-17). Understand this fact that as it has been written per Romans 8:28-30 and Revelation 7:1-3, He is now at “work” signing, sealing and delivering back to Him those who are of His for His eternal work (John 15:15-16). The question is this; will you be a part of it (Joshua 24:14-15, Revelation 18:4)?

As stated before, as per Yahweh’s directive, today is the last day for my interactions on Facebook, thus to those who wish to continue receiving this “Word”, you can either email me at [email protected] and leave your email address or you can go to my website which is; http://www.lifeboatministriessite.org and you will continue to receive this Word. The Word for Today: What does “The Ark”, “S***m and Gomorrah”, “The Titanic”, “Pearl Harbor” and the “Towers” all have in common?

Revelation 18:4

“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

In all of the afore mentioned disasters, in each there was a warning that was not heeded thus many people lost their lives due to either pride of the leaders or apathy with the masses. If any remembers the “Charlie Brown” shows they may remember how all of the “adults” sounded when they talked when addressing the “children”. They made a “blah, blah” sound. As per Matthew 13:13, when people struggle to accept a truth or they do not like what a person is saying, they also hear a “blah, blah” sound for they have turned their ears “off”. This is exampled by Genesis 19:14, for when Lot went to attempted to warn his family of the impending doom approaching, they only laughed and mocked him (Matthew 24:39-41). What is it that creates this inability to listen to warnings of others (Proverbs 16:18)? If any can or will recall the tragedy that occurred at “Columbine”, in the aftermath of it there was an interview with some of the parents of the victims. One interview in particular was Isaiah Shoels’s father in which he had confessed that when his son had brought to him repeated concerns regarding the two killers, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, Mr. Shoels ignored them. He cautioned parents that whenever your children come home with concerns; listen to them for if you don’t, they may become a victim. How many tragedies or even minor mishaps occur due to people ignoring warnings? People of today ignore medical advice and develop serious health issues. People of today ignore various professional advice and it affects their property. People of today ignore counselors, teachers and others relating to their children and their children struggle and/or fail in school. But the most important avoidance that occurs is as exampled by 1 Corinthians 10:1-12, the continued ignoring of the numerous warnings in the scriptures that “churched” people do regarding messages from Yahweh’s servants that has and will result in suffering of hardships and death (Romans 1:18-23). Yes, as per Matthew 24:3-12 and 2 Timothy 3:1-6, there are and will be numerous false prophets spouting off “stupidity” regarding the days that we live thus as per Acts 17:11 and 2 Timothy 2:15, the best way to determine what is of God is to examine the Word for yourself and then allow your heart to become open to Yahweh to see if the “concerns” are true (Proverbs 3:5-6, 1 John 4:1-5). As exampled by Acts 5:32-39, some will choose the “apathy” route and just sit and wait but this may create a false sense of comfort for in these days the scriptures warn of the dangers in this mindset in that when all seems peaceful and under control, disaster will occur (1 Thessalonians 5:1-3). As per Luke 13:1-5, no one will be exempt thus it is urgent that all are to engage in an intensive examination with Yahweh’s Spirit the warnings that are heard. As per, Matthew 3:2,Matthew 4:17 and Mark 1:15, the time is at hand to seek Yahweh before it is too late for how much longer do you think that “time” has left (Genesis 7:1-5, Acts 1:6-7)? Pretty soon, as per Revelation 22:10-11, He will command that the “door” becomes closed and there will no longer be an atonement for sins (Romans 1:24-28). Get in His “boat” and live.

The Word for Today: Powerlessness; “Letting go and letting God”.

Genesis 19:27-28

“Early the next morning Abraham got up and returned to the place where he had stood before the Lord. He looked down toward S***m and Gomorrah, toward all the land of the plain, and he saw dense smoke rising from the land, like smoke from a furnace.”

Possibly one of the most painful and frustrating things that a person will hear in times of trouble is this; “all that you can do is pray”. This is due to the fact that we mortals hate not to be in control which started with us in the “garden” for our desire was to be like God (Genesis 3:5-6). This is truly within those who have a relationship with Yahweh for as per Psalm 82:3-8, we know that we have been granted responsibility for the care of others thus we struggle at times with our limited ability (Isaiah 30:15). Consider the possible struggle that went on within Abraham for he loved his nephew Lot like he was his son. Abraham took Lot with him into the Promised Land (Genesis 12:1-5). When things became rough Abraham let Lot have first choice to keep the peace (Genesis 13:1-12). When Lot had trouble it was Abraham that rescued him thus when Abraham was informed that Lot’s life was in jeopardy, he pleaded with Yahweh to spare the city for Lot’s sake (Genesis 14:1-15, Genesis 18:16-33). Thus when Abraham arose the next morning and saw that the city was destroyed, his worst fears appeared to become reality for he possibly was fearing that the worst had occurred to Lot but unbeknownst to him, Yahweh had answered his prayers and spared Lot for Lot had been saved from the calamity that befell the city for the angels pulled him to safety (Genesis 19:15-22). As per Proverbs 3:5-6, by placing all of his total trust in Yahweh, Abraham was blessed with answer to his prayers which became an ongoing and everlasting legacy of faith (Genesis 15:6, Isaiah 51:1-3, Romans 4:2-3). What about your faith today? What are you struggling to let go of and let God have for we are all powerless and in need of an increases of faith (Mark 9:23-24). I will use a personal experience to illustrate how much faith we need; Years ago when I first became a therapist, I had a fish aquarium set up in my office. I worked Monday thru Friday which meant that my fish would not be fed on the weekends. One Monday I was stressing about some situation that occurred on the job and I was “running” around the building and I failed to realize that I had yet to feed my fish. As it became late in the day, Yahweh spoke to me and asked if I had fed the fish. I realized that I hadn’t and began to rush to address this but He told me to sit down and look at my fish. I did and He asked me what I observed about them. I noticed that they appeared to be swimming calmly. He then stated the following to me for He said, “Christopher, to the fish you are their god and they trust you enough to wait for you to take care of their needs. They haven’t stressed by jumping out of the tank or fighting each other but they are calmly waiting on you. Why can’t you do the same with Me?” I leave this example with you to ponder (Isaiah 40:31).

The Word for Today: Temporary fixes

Matthew 9:16-17

“No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment, and the tear is made worse. Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”

In my life I had made some mistakes and sought to fix them but I realized that all I was doing was applying temporary “band aids” to the problem instead of addressing the root. I will use my early part of my “career” as an illustration. After I graduated from my undergrad I acquired a job working at a convenience store. Due to my using “solutions” to my problems that I encountered, I was fired. I then went on to become an undercover store detective and found out that many of my colleagues didn’t like me so I left. I then went to work as an insurance agent and found similar interactions with my associates. I then went to begin my career as a social worker and again I found that my colleagues didn’t care much for me. After this I became employed as a counselor and found the same results but this time I had joined the church so I went to Yahweh and He asked me a question which was; “what is the one thing in each situation that stayed constant?”(Matthew 11:28-30). I pondered this and I was able to come to the understanding that I was the common denominator for in each situation, I sought to "fix” my problem by looking at others and change my jobs but I never sought to look at me and own up to my responsibility that I brought to each situation (Psalms 51:1-4, Isaiah 64:6). This is not to say that everyone that dislikes me is totally my fault but if I was unwilling to examine my ways then I can never expect Yahweh to intervene with those who have their own issues (Psalm 139:23-24). Thus as exampled as per Luke 18:10-14, yes it does take two sinners to engage in continual sin, thus to “fix” the problem it will take both of them to go honestly to Yahweh to truly fix the problem. But if only one goes, only one will be saved so which “one” will you be (Matthew 21:28-32, Matthew 24:37-51)?

The Word for Today: Commitment is willingness to go through the pain.

Proverbs 24:16

“For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.”

In everyone’s life a storm must come but those who are committed to making it through will as like an eagle, become restored (Isaiah 40:31). As stated by Genesis 2:7, we are born from the earth, thus within each of us are traces of precious metals such as gold and Yahweh, like those seeking treasure from within the earth, will His in order that our "gold" will be brought out for His glory (Proverbs 16:3, Proverbs 25:4, Malachi 3:3). Thus when you have a goal, give it to Him and even when you will fall along the way He will restore you for accomplishment is not without trial and tribulation for anything that is worth having must be worth the pain and only the feeble run from the challenge. As per Matthew 7:24-27, only those who are of Yahweh know that they are formed by His Hands and filled with His Spirit thus they are able get back up and “stand” while others collapse and stay down (Romans 8:28-30). As through the exhortation of 1 Corinthians 9:25-27, in order to be committed one must become “focused” not only on the prize but also on the journey by not ignoring that which is against them but using it to motivate them to become whole (Genesis 50:20). Like an eagle, in order to succeed one must learn to welcome the storm for it will pull out from within and they will discover their strengths and gifts that Yahweh has placed within them (2 Corinthians 12:5-9). Thus as per 1 Samuel 15:22-24, total commitment with Yahweh is not a sacrifice but the path of righteousness (Matthew 7:13-20, Philippians 4:13). A point for those who have damaged their bodies through chemicals; the withdrawal that you fear is the body restoring itself for the pain is the gateway to renewal. Thus if you desire good health, then you must be willing to endure loss (Proverbs 23:19-21). If you desire knowledge, then you must be willing to endure isolation (Luke 10:38-42). If you desire to be a parent, then you must be willing to endure crying (Proverbs 23:13-14). If you desire His glory, then you must be willing to endure serving (Matthew 20:21-23, Matthew 23:11-12). If you desire eternity, then you must be willing to endure death (Matthew 16:24-25). Thus as per Isaiah 49:14-16 and Philippians 2:8, He showed us how to be committed for through His unselfishness and willingness in enduring pain He showed the commitment to us (John 3:16-17).

The Word for Today: Word isn’t enough

John 4:48

“Unless you people see signs and wonders,” Yahshua told him, “you will never believe.”

As stated in Matthew 12:31-32, when people cannot accept God’s Word, they call Him a liar which is blasphemy. Yahweh through His Son speaks and all that He speaks is a firm foundation but those under the “spirit” of the flesh seek continual evidence which hinders His peace to dwell within (John 14:26-27, Hebrews 3:18-19). As stated in Romans 1:19-25 and Revelation 13:12-16, those that are not of His Spirit, are like the world for they marvel and follow after the things “created” by those of the created (Matthew 16:1-4). The shame of this all is that although in the scriptures it talks about the increase in knowledge (Daniel 12:4), drug use (Galatians 5:19-21) and fleshly desires (Matthew 24:37-38) yet those of the “churched” ignore these “signs” and cling to the “fables” and ways of man instead of seeking for themselves the understanding of Yahweh (Zechariah 4:6, Mark 7:6-7). Thus as stated by Matthew 7:21-23, many of those within the “house” will be caste out and lost for they did not seek Yahweh for themselves but depended on others (Acts 17:11, 2 Timothy 2:15). Remember if ones who walked with Yahshua struggled with His Word, then what condition could you be in today (Luke 24:13-32, John 20:25)? As per the exhortation of Psalms 139:23-24, “check yourself before you wreck yourself” on the various “waters” of the world (Revelation 17:15). As per Genesis 6:22, John 10:27-28, Hebrews 11:1-6, Revelation 14:12 and Revelation 18:4, only those who truly have His Word within their heart will be blessed to hear and follow for they do not need to see (2 Kings 6:15-17, John 17:20-23, John 20:29). Is His Word good enough (Matthew 8:5-13)?

The Word for Today: We are institutionalized.

1 Samuel 8:19-20

“But the people refused to listen to Samuel. “No!” they said. “We want a king over us. Then we will be like all the other nations, with a king to lead us and to go out before us and fight our battles.”

As exampled by John 12:10-11, when a person or persons become institutionalized they become so established as part of an organization, that they become apathetic and dependent within the system that the convention or norm become paramount which is due to the “organization” hidden (or overt) “schemes” to keep the “inhabitants” in place (Mark 7:8-13). Basically when you are institutionalized, you become so used to the environment that you are a part of that you no longer seek for true freedom (Isaiah 30:12-15, John 8:31-32). The children of Israel where “taught” for 400 years by the Egyptians to be dependent upon their system of worship thus even after when Yahweh showed them numerous examples of His ability to care for them through miracle after miracle they not only rebelled in the wilderness but also many times afterwards for they sought to be like others instead of being of Yahweh (Exodus 32:1-6, Romans 1:19-25). As exampled by 1 Corinthians 10:1-13, we have not taken heed to this for we, like them, also have fallen under the ways of institutionalization for we seek out other “gods” and “rulers” instead of putting our full trust in Yahweh. Our “god”, “ruler” and “king” has become that which we have created for our “comfort” which is our technology for we have allowed it to take dominion over our lives to the point that we cannot live or exist without it. Technology especially took hold of our lives with the advent of the television, especially the use of its “screen” for from the development of the hypnotic screen, we have developed into a group of mindless beings that are in search of instantaneous pleasure and deliverance (Matthew 6:22-23). From this development has led to our dependence on our use of “smart” cell phones, computers and the internet which is composed of the many instantaneous pleasure zones such as social media in which we have allowed ourselves to become so dependent upon them that we believe ourselves equal at times to Yahweh (Genesis 11:1-4). Even within those of the “church” are caught up for as example through the use of technology we violate the exhortation of Hebrews 10:25 in which instead of our gathering together we now can through technology now choose to “worship” alone instead of within the community. Ponder this following example; for those of us who are 45 years and above, ask the youth of today which way is “clockwise” or “counter clockwise” (Nehemiah 13:23-24)? Our youth are so caught up with this technology craze that although they appear to be more “intelligent” they do not possess within them the basics for healthy interaction (Proverbs 30:11-15). In this day and age we have those of Yahweh that give us warnings of preparation for His Son’s soon return but we ignore the truths and use the phrase, “I need to hear from God” yet as exampled by Exodus 20:18-21, we have no true desire to actually listen directly to Yahweh for we fear true exposure of our sinful ways thus we are easily led to our spiritual slaughter by our fear of truth (Proverbs chapter 7, 2 Timothy 3:1-9). As per 1 Peter 4:17, we who are claiming to be of Yahweh are being examined right now before He returns thus then what should our true allegiance be at; in our trust in our ways or in His (Matthew 21:28-32, Luke 18:10-14)? Thus as per Luke 17:32 and Revelation 18:4, choose today who you will “hang” unto and depend upon for your “power” (Deuteronomy 30:15-20).

The Word for Today: Cut away the cancer of Facebook/social media.

Numbers 16:24

“Say to the assembly, ‘Move away from the tents of Korah, Dathan and Abiram.’”

First of all, as per Galatians 1:11-16, I have and will never claim to be a prophet for that is not the gift that I have within me yet when Yahweh speaks to me I must give as I have received. Thus as per a word that was given to me and confirmed now 5 times, The Father has decreed that His people are to come away from Facebook (Revelation 18:4). Saints of the most High, I have wrestled with this revelation for two weeks and consulted with others and attempted to find a way that Facebook could co-exist with the various positive messages that are sent out but The Father instructed that we are to be reminded of The Ark of Noah (Genesis Chapters 6 and 7) and of S***m and Gomorrah (Genesis 19:1-26) in that when He states for His people to make a clean break, He means it. Yes, as it is exampled by Psalm 14:1-4 and Romans 14:16-19, on Facebook, there are many who seek to present positive and wonderful messages to the masses yet in these last days, the cancerous seeds of corruption that is among the "wheat", will continue to grow and Yahweh will allow a “plague” to break out that can and will consume the very elect if they do not heed His warning. An example of how to handle this I observed recently through my brother at a ballgame. As per Job 1:1 in which it states that “…This man was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil.” what occurred is that as we waited the commencing of the game, a group of individuals who where inebriated sat in front of us. They where full of a “spirit” that was not of Yahweh thus their behaviors became a nuisance and became an annoyance to all that where around them. Even during the National Anthem, they engaged in riotous and disrespectful behavior that crated negative feelings for those around them. My brother then made the decision for us to vacate our seats away from these ‘gentlemen” in order that their behavior would not disturb our peace and after we complied with his requests, they also moved away and I observed that they became more disrespectful to those around them. There were some “ladies” who they decided to “take up with” who appeared to enjoy their “attention" but they where no longer a “bother” to the rest of the section. Afterwards others commended him on his decision for their peace had been disrupted by these “gentlemen” but as we heeded the move of the Spirit, others benefitted from our move. We who are of Yahweh are to love others yet we need not to venture in and/or occupy those places that only the world understands and inhabits. Refer to the example of Genesis 34:1-4 and examine what occurred for by Dinah venturing into places “unknown” she was treated as if she was one of the world which she was not (Genesis 19:1-9, 2 Samuel 13:1-18, Matthew 10:16). Now I fear that for some of you may consider this “teaching” to be one of an alarmist and not to be heeded but as per Joshua 24:14-15, that is to be your decision whether you stay or leave. Thus, as per The Father’s specific instruction, I will shut down all of my pages/accounts within 7 days from this day thus if you seek to continue fellowship with me via “The Word for Today” you will have two options which are that 1. you can send me your email address for I send “The Word” out to a number of the saints into their personal email or 2. you can go to my website by using the following link;

http://www.lifeboatministriessite.org/Word-for-today.html

and thus you can continue to receive these messages and as per Psalm 133:1, we can continue our fellowship together. Saints of the Most High, as per Matthew 24:37-39, these days that we are in are fast becoming the times that Yahshua warned us about and He wants us to come away from the ways of the wicked least we be consumed with them in their sins (Luke 17:32-36) . As with all of the Words of Yahweh, I pray that you seek His Spirit in all that you do for it is always to be His Will and not ours that is to be our guide (2 Timothy 2:3-4). I pray Yahweh’s continued blessings unto you all in your journey’s today.

The Word for Today: Do you reverence life?

Genesis 9:6

“Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind.”

Ponder this scripture; “If a man say, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar. For he that loves not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?” (1 John 4:20). As stated in Luke 23:34, as our God Yahshua hung on the cross, He prayed for us because we treated God with contempt (Romans 5:7-10). This is because we have no true reverential love for God for we do not understand love for if we truly did then our actions and behaviors would be vastly different. The difference between Yahweh and us is that Yahweh can’t hate Himself where we can thus as we treat ourselves (and others) thus we treat God. You see we go around all the time talking about love but we truly do not understand love because for us, love involves liking someone or something where Yahweh has reverence for all that is His for it is Him and He reverences Himself (Genesis 1:26-27, Genesis 2:23, Ephesians 5:28-29). This is why that the scriptures Isaiah 48:10-11 and Isaiah 49:14-16 are so paramount to and for our understanding for they illustrate why Yahweh treats us the way He does for He is treating Himself. Do you realize that we our contempt for Yahweh every time we seek to hurt others through our verbal attacks, physical attacks, abusive and neglectful behavior that we display towards each other whether the person “appears to deserves” it or not (Matthew 25:41-45). As exampled by Acts 17:22-30 and Romans 1:18-32, we have no true love for each other which is actually is the reverence for Yahweh when we continually mistreat that which is of Yahweh which includes all of creation, particularly and especially man (Genesis 1:31, Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 6:12-19). Thus as it was presented in the opening line of this teaching, examine yourself and how you truly reverence Yahweh by considering how you treat yourself and others (Psalms 139:21-24). Do you want to become perfect (Matthew 5:43-48)? Then as per John 14:15, today study the following; Exodus 20:12-17, Philippians 4:8, Ephesians 4:26-32, James 4:11 and do as per Zechariah 4:6 and allow Him to change you (Isaiah 1:18, James 5:16). Remember all that you go through is to make you in His true image so that you will have a reverential love for Him which His Son has (Romans 8:28-30, 2 Corinthians 3:18, Revelation 3:14-22).
