Station 4: Jesus meets His Mother is a profound meditation on shared suffering and compassion. It highlights the intense emotional pain of a mother watching her son suffer, and a son burdened by his mother’s sorrow. Mary’s heart is pierced, demonstrating that loving deeply often means sharing in each other’s pain. Mary stands with her son, offering silent strength, and through just their eyes meeting, love-pain-and surrender to Gods plan is understood without saying one word. “Hail Holy Queen, our life, our sweetness and our hope…” May we be reminded during this Holy Week that we can always turn to our Blessed Mother for intercession, to bring us closer to her son, Jesus Christ.

Join us Good Friday as we reflect on the profound love of Jesus and Mary.

Jesus actively surrenders giving his life in perfect trust. His ultimate sacrifice was deliberate, a loving action to forgive sins and bridge the gap between God and humanity. It provides comfort to those who have lost loved ones, who have been abandoned, or experiencing pain and suffering. Jesus shows us the strength of divine love. Join us at St. Joseph’s Chapel for our final presentation of the Living Stations of the Cross.
