Over the last 40 years of community involvement, we have had the opportunity to educate the public and private sector about the needs and struggles of those struggling with life-controlling problems such as drugs and alcohol. In November of 2005, as part of our mission to serve the community, we began to fight hunger by gathering and distributing food, engaging in partnerships that advance self-su

fficiency and by providing leadership on issues related to hunger. New Challenge Fresh Rescue Food Bank is now the largest food bank in the South Bay as designated by Mayor Eric Garcetti. All are welcome and we distribute fresh fruit, vegetables, dairy, bread and meat to over...80,000 people per month (with the help of 35 other organizations).
