How to use your Prayer/Answer boxes. Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
1 John 5:14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. Followed by 1 John 5:15 And if we know He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.
1.) Not only does God hear our every prayer, but He also answers our every prayer.
After praying and thanking God for whatever the need or situation may be, we write out our prayer request and give it to God, we place it back into the prayer box and await His answer.
( I like to put the date on my requests)
2.) Now that we have given it to God, we continue in faith, believing that the answer is on it's way.
When the answer comes (I put the date that God answered it) I then move it from the prayer box into the answer box.
3.) A helpful reminder is to go through your answer box and see how faithful God is. I personally believe that the only prayer God does not answer, is the one that is not given to Him.
His word says; James 4:2 Yet you do not have because you do not ask.
